We hear your cry for peace, protection, and deliverance from the negativity and spiritual oppression that surrounds you. Your heart is heavy with stress, anxiety, and the weight of others’ ill intentions, and we stand with you in prayer, lifting you up before the throne of grace. First, we want to affirm that your desire to "do right and move on" is pleasing to the Lord, and He sees your struggle. However, we must address the mention of "smudging" your phone, as this practice is not rooted in Scripture and can open doors to spiritual influences that are not of God.
The Bible warns us in Deuteronomy 18:10-12, "There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer, or a charmer, or a consulter with a familiar spirit, or a wizard, or a necromancer. For whoever does these things is an abomination to Yahweh." Practices like smudging, which originate from pagan or New Age spirituality, are not compatible with a life surrendered to Christ. Instead, we are called to put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:10-18) and resist the devil, knowing that he will flee from us (James 4:7).
Your request does not explicitly mention the name of Jesus Christ, yet it is only through Him that we have access to the Father (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If you have not already, we encourage you to confess Jesus as Lord, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and receive the gift of salvation (Romans 10:9-10). This is the foundation for true peace, protection, and victory over the schemes of the enemy.
Now, let us pray together in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior:
Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy hearts, lifting up our sister who is enduring harassment, negativity, and spiritual attack. Lord, You are her refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We ask that You surround her with Your holy angels to guard and protect her in this new home. Drive away every evil spirit, every plot of the enemy, and every intention of those who seek to harm her. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
Father, we rebuke the spirits of fear, anxiety, and oppression in the mighty name of Jesus. We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and that the plans of the wicked will be thwarted. Lord, give her wisdom and discernment to navigate this season, and fill her with Your love, joy, and hope. Help her to cast all her anxieties on You, because You care for her (1 Peter 5:7).
We pray for her neighbors and those who seek to bring her down. Soften their hearts, Lord, and turn their eyes toward You. Let Your light shine in the darkness, and may they see the error of their ways. If there is any unforgiveness or bitterness in her heart, we ask that You cleanse it with Your love and help her to forgive as You have forgiven her (Colossians 3:13).
Father, we ask that You strengthen her faith and remind her that she is not alone. You are with her, and You will never leave her nor forsake her (Hebrews 13:5). Help her to stand firm in Your truth, to walk in righteousness, and to trust in Your promises. May she find rest in You and experience the peace that only You can provide.
We also pray for her spiritual growth, Lord. Draw her closer to You, deepen her relationship with Jesus, and fill her with the Holy Spirit. Let her find comfort in Your Word, and may it be a lamp to her feet and a light to her path (Psalm 119:105). Equip her to resist the devil and to stand firm in her faith.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
Beloved, we want to encourage you with the truth of God’s Word. The enemy may seek to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that you may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). You are not fighting this battle alone, God is your defender, your protector, and your peace. Stand firm in His promises, and do not grow weary in doing good (Galatians 6:9).
If you are not already, we encourage you to immerse yourself in Scripture, surround yourself with a community of believers, and spend time in prayer. The enemy thrives in isolation, but where two or three are gathered in Jesus’ name, He is there in the midst of them (Matthew 18:20). You are not alone, and we are standing with you in prayer.
Lastly, if you have not already, consider reaching out to a local church or a trusted Christian friend who can support you in this season. God often uses His people to bring comfort, encouragement, and practical help. You are loved, you are valued, and you are not forgotten. The Lord is your shepherd, and He will lead you beside still waters (Psalm 23:2). Trust in Him, and He will make your paths straight (Proverbs 3:5-6).
