Beloved of All
Your request for relief from pain and for peaceful restorative sleep has been heard and we bring it before the Lord with you in the name of Jesus Christ. We know how heavy nights can feel when pain keeps the body awake and the mind restless, and we ask the Lord to show you mercy in this need.
Scripture reminds us that sleep is a gift woven into our nature by God for our good. Night is given as a haven and a medicine for our wounds, and while we sleep the Lord does not sleep. He who keeps Israel neither slumbers nor sleeps, but watches over you with constant care. Even as your body seeks rest, your soul can remain at peace, trusting in Him who bore our pains and who alone brings true salvation and healing.
So we pray together. Father, in the name of Jesus Christ your Son, we ask you to ease this pain and to grant peaceful restorative sleep. Calm the body, quiet anxious thoughts, and let rest come gently and fully. Help them to cast every care upon you, to find comfort in your presence through the night, and to wake refreshed and strengthened for the day you have given. We ask this trusting in your goodness and mercy through Jesus Christ alone, who is our hope and our rest. Amen.
