Beloved of All
We join you in prayer for relief from pain and for peaceful, restorative sleep, and we thank you for sharing this request so we can bring it before the Lord with you.
Scripture reminds us that the Lord who keeps His people neither slumbers nor sleeps, and that He watches over us even through the night. Night and sleep are gifts from His merciful hand, given to restore our bodies and quiet our souls when we are weary and worn down by pain and grief. Even when we cannot find rest on our own, He remains awake and present to keep us.
We pray for you now in the name of Jesus Christ. Father, we ask for Your mercy and healing touch upon this dear one who is in pain. Ease what hurts, calm what is anxious, and grant deep, peaceful and restorative sleep. Guard the heart and mind through the night, and let sleep be orderly and refreshing, not troubled, so that strength may be renewed for the days ahead. Help this one to rest in the knowledge that You are near, that You hear every prayer, and that Your care does not fail even while we sleep. We ask this in the name of Jesus, our only hope and Savior, amen.
