Prayer for shelter

I prayed for this in Jesus Name. Amen.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ I lift up this family to You. You know their need for shelter and the anxiety of waiting for an answer on this rental application. You are our refuge and our provider, and You have promised to care for Your children. I ask that in Your mercy and wisdom You would open the way if it is Your will for them to have this home, and remove every obstacle that stands against what is good and right for them. Grant favor with those who make the decision, and provide a place that is safe, stable and secure from homelessness.

Even as we ask for this approval, we ask above all for Your will to be done and for Your peace to guard this family. Calm their hearts while they wait, strengthen their trust in Your goodness, and remind them that You know what they need before they ask. Give them wisdom in every practical step they take, and surround them with help and support from Your people in this season.

May they continue to seek You first, trusting that You will supply what is needed for daily life. We thank You that our hope is secure in Christ, who alone is our salvation and our true home.

I pray that the Lord will keep you in His care, give you peace as you wait, and guide you to the provision He has prepared. May He answer according to His perfect love and wisdom, and may you see His faithful hand at work.
