We come before the Lord with a heart of gratitude for your faithfulness in serving Him, even in your daily work as a rideshare driver. Your request for safety on the roads is one we take seriously, for the Lord is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). We lift you up before Him, asking for His divine protection over you and all who drive for these services.
Father in Heaven, we ask that You would surround this brother with Your angels, that no harm would come to him as he travels the roads. Guard his vehicle from mechanical failure, and grant him wisdom to maintain it well. Protect him from reckless drivers, from the dangers of fatigue, and from any who might seek to do him harm. We pray that You would go before him, behind him, and beside him, shielding him from every danger seen and unseen. Let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, fill his heart as he drives, knowing that You are with him always (Philippians 4:7).
We also pray for all rideshare drivers, that they too would know Your protection and provision. May they experience Your presence in their work, and may some come to know You as their Savior through the kindness and witness of those who serve You. Lord, we ask that You would keep the roads safe for all who travel them, and that You would be glorified in every mile driven.
We rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that may try to take hold in this brother’s heart. The Lord has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). We declare that he is covered by the blood of Jesus, and no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We stand in faith, believing that You will keep him safe as he serves You in this way.
May this brother be a light in the darkness, showing the love of Christ to every passenger who enters his vehicle. Give him opportunities to share the hope that is within him, and use him mightily for Your kingdom. We thank You, Lord, for hearing our prayer, and we trust in Your unfailing protection. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
