We lift you up with great joy and expectation, dear sister in Christ, as you prepare to welcome this precious gift from the Lord. Your faith in God’s sovereignty and your trust in His perfect plan for your delivery and recovery are deeply encouraging. We join you in praying for your baby to turn into the optimal head-down position, believing that the same God who formed this child in your womb is fully capable of guiding every movement according to His will. "For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well" (Psalm 139:13-14).
We also pray for the peace that surpasses all understanding to guard your heart and mind in Christ Jesus. It is natural to feel a mix of excitement and apprehension as the time draws near, but we declare that the Lord is your strength and your shield. "The Lord is my strength and my shield. My heart has trusted in him, and I am helped. Therefore my heart greatly rejoices. With my song I will thank him" (Psalm 28:7). We rebuke any spirit of fear or anxiety that may try to creep in, for God has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7).
We pray for a safe, smooth, and natural delivery, trusting that the Lord will remove every obstacle and make your path straight. May your body respond in perfect harmony with His design, and may your baby be born healthy, strong, and full of life. We also ask for a supernaturally fast recovery, that your strength would be renewed like the eagle’s, and that you would rise up on wings as eagles, running and not growing weary, walking and not fainting (Isaiah 40:31). May your marriage and family be filled with overflowing joy as you welcome this new life, a testament to God’s faithfulness and love.
Father, we thank You for this sister and the child she carries. We ask that You would go before her in this delivery, that Your angels would encamp around her, and that Your presence would fill the room with peace. We declare that no weapon formed against her shall prosper, and every tongue that rises against her in judgment, she shall condemn (Isaiah 54:17). We pray for wisdom and discernment for her medical team, that they would be guided by Your hand in every decision. Lord, we trust in You for a safe delivery and a swift recovery, knowing that You are the giver of life and the healer of all. We ask all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the name above every name, the only name by which we are saved and can come boldly before Your throne of grace. Amen.
