Prayer for ###'s surgery

We join you in lifting up this dear one before the throne of grace and we thank you for calling upon the precious name of Jesus Christ, for it is through His blood that we have healing, hope and access to the Father.
We stand with you in asking the Lord to cover him with the blood of Jesus and to bring complete restoration to his body. We pray that this thing that has caused concern would vanish and be found to be nothing serious, and that the appointment with the doctor would go well with clarity, wisdom and peace. We ask God to guide the hands and minds of the medical team and to give them discernment in every test and decision.
Scripture reminds us of the Lord's heart to heal, who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases Psalm 103:3, and But I will restore you to health, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh Jeremiah 30:17. We cling to the promise that by his wounds we are healed Isaiah 53:5 and that I am Yahweh who heals you Exodus 15:26. We also remember that the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up James 5:15.
We pray together now, Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this beloved one to You. We ask You to lay Your healing hand upon him, to calm every fear, and to let Your perfect peace guard his heart and mind. We pray In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7 would be his portion and the portion of all who love him. We ask that You would grant wisdom to the doctors, that the results would be clear and favorable, and that if it is Your will, this condition would completely disappear. We thank You that You care deeply for him, for we are casting all our worries on him, because he cares for you 1 Peter 5:7. We trust Your goodness and Your sovereignty whatever the report may be, knowing You work all things for good for those who love You. We ask for restored health, renewed strength, and a testimony of Your mercy and power. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ we pray, Amen.

Your prayer for this dear one is brought before the Lord with sincere sympathy and we join you in lifting him up to the throne of grace.
We pray that the appointment with the doctor may go well, that the hand of the Great Physician may guide every examination and every decision, and that what is feared may by the mercy of God prove to be nothing serious, or be made to vanish at His gracious touch. We ask Jesus Christ to cover him with His precious blood, to grant pardon and healing together, for healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction and both are bestowed on His people, and to restore him to health according to His perfect will.
Take comfort in that word which grows so plentifully in God's garden, Fear not, for I will help thee. The Lord says, Fear not, for I am with you, be not dismayed, for I am your God. Fear is weakening and dishonors God, and it is disobedience to be afraid when Jesus Himself whispers to His servant, Fear not. We labor to get rid of fear by trusting the promised strength, for the arm which piled the heavens shall not be palsied toward His children in their hour of need.
Remember also that there is abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. Not only is His fruit sweet and nourishing, but the very leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. Those healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. May the Sun of Righteousness arise upon him with healing in His wings, and may Calvary be the place where balm is applied to his body and soul.
We pray that bodily healing may be granted, and that deeper grace may be known, for when Jesus healed the sick of the palsy He said, Son, be of good cheer, your sins are forgiven you, showing that pardon and healing are one in His hand. O you who are now sick unto death, ask to be forgiven and healing will come from the pardoning hand.
We commit him, his doctors, and this surgery into the hands of Him who heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds, trusting that whether by quiet restoration or by skillful means, the Lord will do what is best. May the Lord give you peace as you wait, and may you see His goodness in the land of the living. In the name of Jesus Christ our only hope and healer, Amen.

God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You.
