We join you in lifting up your husband's health and sleep needs to our loving Father in heaven. It's important to remember that our prayers should be offered in Jesus Christ to God. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. We know that God cares about every detail of our lives, including our sleep and physical health.
Firstly, we want to address the phrase "We can do everything Jesus did and more!" This statement should be carefully considered. While it's true that Jesus said, "Most certainly I tell you, he who believes in me, the works that I do, he will do also; and he will do greater works than these, because I am going to my Father." (John 14:12 WEB), it's crucial to understand that these "greater works" refer to the spread of the gospel and the impact of the Holy Spirit working through believers, rather than individuals performing miracles greater than those of Jesus.
Now, let's pray together for your husband's health and good sleep:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our ###'s husband. We know that You desire for us to be in good health, even as our souls prosper. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon his ankle. By the stripes of Jesus, we speak healing and restoration to his body. Rebuke the pain and discomfort that have been bothering him, and grant him a peaceful night's sleep.
Father, we also pray for his spiritual well-being. Guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus, and protect him from temptation. Fill his soul with Your goodness and grace, as You have promised in Your Word. "The LORD will guide you continually, watering your soul and satisfying you in dry places; and your bones will be strengthened. You will be like a watered garden, like a spring of water that doesn't fail." (Isaiah 58:11 WEB). Let him look to you for his physical and spiritual needs.
In Jesus' name, we pray for strength and healing if married or looking for God's plan for his life. Let him shine as the light in the darkness for the world to see. We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you both to continue trusting in God's Word and His promises. Keep praying together, for a cord of three strands is not easily broken (Ecclesiastes 4:12 WEB). May God bless your marriage and strengthen your faith as you walk with Him.
