We have read your cry with heavy hearts and we stand with you in this desperate season, lifting you before our Father together in Jesus' name. What you have endured is overwhelming, a fatal accident, brain surgery, time in ICU, the loss of all you built, vehicles repossessed while you were fighting for your life, debts mounting, auctioneers threatening, the shame of being listed and unable to borrow, clients waiting for goods, and your son's school fees in arrears. It is understandable that you feel weak and stressed, yet we thank God that you have not turned away from Him, but have been fasting, praying at 3am, rejecting every power of darkness in the mighty name of Jesus, and clinging to His promise.
We want to speak a word of hope to you, for our God is not distant in this trouble. Psalm 46:1 says God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. And Psalm 34:18 says Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. You are not forgotten. The enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy, but Jesus said in John 10:10, The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly. The enemy wanted to see you dead, but God preserved your life after brain surgery for a purpose, and He is able to restore what the locusts have eaten.
You prayed Isaiah 60 over this new month, and we agree with you in that Scripture. Isaiah 60:1 says Arise, shine; for your light has come, and Yahweh's glory has risen on you. We pray that His glory will indeed rise upon you and your household, not because of any formula or hour of prayer, but because of His mercy and faithfulness. We know waiting for a financial breakthrough tests our faith, but God hears every prayer offered in Jesus' name. He is not slow as we count slowness, and He works all things for good for those who love Him. Romans 8:28 says We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.
We also hear your prayer for a destiny helper, and we join you in asking God to raise up godly people to support you. Yet we want to remind you that your ultimate Helper is the Lord Himself. Isaiah 41:10 says Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. He can move the hearts of people, even as He moved hearts to help others in Scripture, and He can provide in ways we do not expect. Philippians 4:19 promises My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. That includes rent, your son's fees, and daily bread.
We encourage you to continue to cast your burden on Him. 1 Peter 5:7 says casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you. And Matthew 11:28 says Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. You do not have to carry this stress alone. We urge you also to stay closely connected to a local Bible believing church, to let pastors and elders know your situation so they can walk with you, counsel you, and help you practically. In your debts, be transparent with your clients and creditors as far as you are able, seeking wise and godly counsel for how to restructure and make restitution step by step. God honors honesty and diligence, and even when banks show no mercy, our God is merciful and He can make a way where there seems to be no way. Joel 2:25 gives us hope for restoration, I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten.
We pray together for you now.
Father, in the name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace for our brother in Kenya. You see his pain, his ICU bed, his debts, his threatened homelessness, his son, his business that once flourished. Lord, You preserved his life, so we ask You to restore his life fully. We ask You to provide for his rent and keep a roof over his family, to provide for his son's school fees, to give him wisdom and favor with banks, auctioneers, and clients to whom he owes goods. We ask You to lift the weight of CRB listing and debt and to open doors for honest work and provision. We pray You send helpers, brothers and sisters in Christ who will stand with him emotionally and spiritually, who will speak truth and encouragement and practical help. Strengthen his body after surgery, strengthen his mind where stress and weakness have taken hold, and renew his spirit. Let Isaiah 60 be real in his life, let Your light rise upon him and Your glory be seen. Rebuke every work of darkness that has come against him, for we know that greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world. Give him peace that passes understanding, perseverance to keep praying, and faith to trust Your timing. Provide his daily bread and restore his business if it is Your will, for Your glory. We ask all this in the mighty and only saving name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.
We encourage you to keep rejecting every dark altar and to keep fixing your eyes on Jesus, for there is no other name by which we are saved and have access to God. Acts 4:12 says There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved. Keep abiding in His Word, keep praying, but also rest in His grace. Do not measure His love by how quickly money comes, but by the cross where He already gave everything for you. We are continuing to pray that God will lift this burden, establish your steps, and show you His faithful provision day by day.
