We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious sister in Christ who is facing overwhelming trials as a single mother. Father God, You see her every need, her lack of resources, the threat of losing electricity, the struggle to even get to work, and the hunger in her home. We declare that You are Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides, and we ask You to move mountains on her behalf. Open the windows of heaven and pour out blessings that she cannot contain, just as You promised in Malachi 3:10: "Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it."
Lord, we rebuke the spirit of lack and poverty in the name of Jesus. Your Word declares in Philippians 4:19, "My God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus." We stand on this promise and ask You to supply every need, electricity restored, gas in her tank, food on her table, and provision beyond what she can ask or imagine. Stir the hearts of Your people to be Your hands and feet, that they may bless her as You lead them.
We also pray for her faith to grow stronger in this trial. Remind her that You are her refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). When fear or doubt creeps in, let her fix her eyes on You, the author and perfecter of her faith (Hebrews 12:2). Strengthen her to trust in Your timing and Your ways, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28).
Father, we ask that You surround her with godly community, believers who will pray for her, encourage her, and walk alongside her in this season. Protect her heart from bitterness or despair, and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). May this trial draw her closer to You and deepen her reliance on Your unfailing love.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
To our sister reading this: You are not forgotten. God sees you, He loves you, and He is working even now. Hold fast to His promises, and do not lose heart. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus Christ, we urge you to do so today. He is the only way to the Father (John 14:6), and in Him alone is true provision, peace, and eternal life. Confess your sins, believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9). If you have already placed your faith in Christ, stand firm in His Word and trust that He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5). Reach out to your local church or Christian community, they are there to help. You are not alone.
