We come before the Lord with hearts full of faith, lifting up this request for provision, employment, and a godly marriage. Father, we know that You are Jehovah Jireh, our Provider, and that every good gift comes from Your hand. We ask that You open doors of opportunity for this dear brother, leading him to a job that not only meets his financial needs but also aligns with Your purpose for his life.
Lord, we pray for the specific job he has mentioned, asking that if it is Your will, You would grant him favor in the eyes of those making the decision. May he be seen as a man of integrity, diligence, and skill, worthy of the position. We declare that no weapon formed against his employment shall prosper, and we rebuke any delays or obstacles that are not of You. "For I know the plans I have for you,” says Yahweh, “plans for peace, and not for evil, to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11). We trust in Your perfect timing and provision, knowing that You will supply all his needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).
We also lift up his desire for a wife, Lord. We pray that You would prepare his heart and the heart of the woman You have for him, that they may both seek You first in all things. Father, we ask that You bring a woman into his life who is equally yoked, a fellow believer who loves You with all her heart, soul, and mind. May their relationship be built on the foundation of Christ, honoring You in every way. "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14). We pray that their courtship would be pure, their intentions honorable, and their future marriage a reflection of Christ’s love for the Church.
Lord, we also take a moment to address the importance of seeking You above all else. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to You, Father. There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). If this brother has not yet surrendered his life to Jesus, we pray that he would do so today, confessing with his mouth that Jesus is Lord and believing in his heart that You raised Him from the dead (Romans 10:9). May he walk in the fullness of Your Spirit, trusting in Your provision and guidance.
We rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or anxiety that may be trying to take hold of his heart. We declare that he is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves him (Romans 8:37). We pray that he would cast all his cares upon You, knowing that You care for him (1 Peter 5:7). Strengthen his faith, Lord, and remind him that You are working all things together for his good (Romans 8:28).
Heavenly Father, we ask that You bless this brother abundantly. Provide for his insurance bill and every other need, Lord. Open the right doors for employment, and prepare his heart for the godly wife You have for him. We trust in Your promises and declare that Your Word will not return void. May he walk in victory, peace, and joy as he seeks You above all else.
In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
