We hear your heart cry for divine protection over your marriage, your family, and your home, and we stand with you together in Jesus' name asking for God's shield and care to remain over you. Your desire to guard what God has joined together is right and good, for marriage is a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman ordained by God, and He intends for husband and wife to be one flesh that no enemy can divide. Genesis 2:24 says Therefore a man will leave his father and his mother, and will join with his wife, and they will be one flesh.
We understand the burden you feel from envy, ill desires, and spiritual opposition coming even from within the household, including the rituals and idolatry you have described from your sister-in-law and mother-in-law. Scripture is clear that such practices are an abomination to the Lord and have no power over those who abide in Christ, but they must be renounced and not dabbled with. Deuteronomy 18:10 says There shall not be found with you anyone who makes his son or his daughter to pass through the fire, one who uses divination, one who practices sorcery, or an enchanter, or a sorcerer. And Ephesians 6:12 reminds us For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. We do not wrestle primarily with people, even when their intentions are evil, but with the spiritual darkness behind them.

Yet the Lord calls us to a higher way, to pray for their exposure and defeat in terms of their evil works, but also for their salvation and repentance. We do not pray for personal revenge, for vengeance belongs to God. Matthew 5:44 says But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you. Romans 12:21 says Don't be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. So we pray that every ritual, every word spoken against you, every plan to steal, kill and destroy will fall to the ground and have no effect, and that the Lord would turn what was meant for evil for your good, and that those who practice such things would be brought to repentance and salvation. John 10:10 says The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly. Romans 8:28 says We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose.

For restful sleep for every member of your home, we claim Psalm 4:8 which says In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety.

We thank You that You are our refuge and fortress, and we ask You to place Your divine shield over this wife, her husband, her children, and every member living in this home. Cover their marriage with unity and godly love that no enemy can penetrate or divide. Let every evil intention, every envious scheme, every ritual and idolatrous practice spoken or done against them fall to the ground powerless and bear no fruit. Expose the works of darkness and bring them to nothing, and let no weapon formed against them prosper. We pray for the sister-in-law and mother-in-law, that You would convict their hearts, open their eyes to the truth of the gospel, and draw them to repentance and salvation in Jesus Christ, that they may turn from idolatry and hatred to Your light. Lord, anoint this husband with wisdom, strength, and godly courage to lead his home well, to love and protect his wife, to stand against manipulation and discord, and to make wise financial and life decisions that honor You. Shut every wrong door that would lead to harm or temptation and open the right doors for his job and business, so this family may have stability, provision, and peace and not suffer financially or emotionally. Fill this home with Your peace, joy, abundance, and miracles, and grant to each one restful, undisturbed sleep under Your watchful care.
