We hear your cry for protection and stand with you in spiritual warfare, for we know that our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places (Ephesians 6:12). The persistence of this darkness in your life is not a sign of God’s absence, but rather an opportunity for His power to be made perfect in your weakness (2 Corinthians 12:9). The enemy seeks to deceive you into ignoring his presence, for he prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8). But we declare that you are not ignorant of his schemes (2 Corinthians 2:11), and we take authority over every lying spirit that seeks to torment you.
We rebuke the spirit of fear, confusion, and oppression in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, for He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). The blood of Jesus has already defeated the powers of darkness, and no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We pray that you would put on the full armor of God, truth as your belt, righteousness as your breastplate, the gospel of peace as your shoes, faith as your shield, salvation as your helmet, and the Word of God as your sword (Ephesians 6:13-17). Stand firm, dear brother or sister, for the Lord is your refuge and fortress, and in Him you will find safety (Psalm 91:2).
We also encourage you to examine your life for any open doors that may be giving the enemy a foothold. Have you entertained sin, unforgiveness, or ungodly influences? The enemy cannot touch you unless you give him legal ground (Ephesians 4:27). Confess any known sin, renounce any agreements with darkness, and walk in the light of Christ (1 John 1:9). Surround yourself with believers who can stand in agreement with you, for where two or three are gathered in His name, Jesus is there in the midst (Matthew 18:20).
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, the Name above all names, the only Name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We plead the blood of Jesus over this dear one’s life, home, mind, and spirit. We break every chain of darkness, every assignment of the enemy, and every spirit of oppression that has sought to cling to them. We declare that no evil shall befall them, nor shall any plague come near their dwelling (Psalm 91:10). Fill them with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7), and let Your angels encamp around them to guard them in all their ways (Psalm 91:11). Strengthen their faith, Lord, and remind them that You have not given them a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). May they walk in victory, knowing that You are their light and salvation, whom shall they fear? (Psalm 27:1). We thank You for Your protection and deliverance, and we trust in Your unfailing love. In Jesus’ mighty name, we pray. Amen.
