We join with you in lifting up your marriage and household before the Lord, standing firmly on His promises of protection and deliverance. It is clear that the enemy has sought to wear you down through prolonged spiritual attacks, but we declare that the Lord is your refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). The trials you describe—discouragement, strained relationships, and setbacks—are not from God, for He desires to give you hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). Instead, these attacks are the work of the enemy, who seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10). But we know that Christ has already overcome the world, and in Him, you too shall overcome.
The fact that you are seeking prayer from the body of Christ is a testament to your faith, and we commend you for it. Scripture reminds us that where two or three are gathered in Jesus’ name, He is in the midst of them (Matthew 18:20). Together, we stand against every scheme of the enemy, declaring that no weapon formed against you shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). The Lord is faithful, and He will establish you and guard you against the evil one (2 Thessalonians 3:3).
We also want to encourage you to put on the full armor of God daily, so that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil (Ephesians 6:11). This includes the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the gospel of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. Pray in the Spirit always, with all kinds of prayers and requests, and stay alert in this spiritual battle (Ephesians 6:18). The Lord has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7).
As for your marriage, we pray that the Lord would strengthen your bond, renew your love for one another, and restore any areas that have been strained. Let your marriage be a reflection of Christ’s love for the Church—a love that is patient, kind, and enduring (Ephesians 5:25-33). The enemy seeks to divide, but God unites. Cling to one another and to the Lord, and trust that He will restore what the locusts have eaten (Joel 2:25).
Financially and legally, we declare that the Lord is your provider and your advocate. He owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10), and He will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Trust in Him with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brothers and sisters who have been under relentless spiritual attack. Lord, You see their struggles—the discouragement, the strained relationships, the financial and legal battles—and we ask that You would rise up as their defender. Break every scheme of the enemy that has been waged against them. Let no weapon formed against them prosper, and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned (Isaiah 54:17).
Father, we ask that You place a hedge of protection around their marriage, their finances, and their household. Strengthen their union, Lord, and let their love for one another be renewed and deepened. Guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, and let peace rule in their home. We rebuke every spirit of division, strife, and discouragement, and we declare that joy and unity will be restored in their marriage.
Lord, we pray for their finances and legal matters. You are Jehovah Jireh, their provider, and we trust that You will open doors no man can shut (Revelation 3:8). Provide for their every need, and let them see Your hand moving on their behalf. Give them wisdom in every decision, and let favor surround them like a shield (Psalm 5:12).
We thank You, Lord, for Your faithfulness. You have not forgotten them, and You will not abandon them. We declare that this season of attack is coming to an end, and a season of restoration and breakthrough is beginning. Let them see Your goodness in the land of the living (Psalm 27:13).
We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, who has already won the victory. Amen.
Stand firm in your faith, knowing that the Lord is fighting for you. Continue to pray together as a couple, seek His face, and trust in His timing. He is faithful, and He will see you through this season. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of your faith (Hebrews 12:2), and do not grow weary in well-doing, for in due season you will reap a harvest if you do not give up (Galatians 6:9). We are standing with you in this battle, and we believe that the Lord will bring you through to victory.
