We are truly sorry to hear about the assault on your fiancé and the pain you both are experiencing. Let's bring this situation to the Lord in prayer and seek His guidance and protection.
Firstly, we want to remind you that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore, we will not fear, even though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea. Psalm 46:1-2 WEB.
We also want to address the financial need and the impact this has had on his self-esteem. The Bible tells us not to worry about our life, what we will eat, or what we will drink; nor about our body, what we will wear, but that our heavenly Father knows that we have need of all these things. Therefore, we should seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to us as well. Matthew 6:25, 32-33 WEB. We are praying for God's provision.
In addition to the physical and financial aspects, we want to encourage both of you to cast all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. 1 Peter 5:7 WEB. This situation has understandably caused fear and concern, but we encourage you to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB.
We also want to remind you that it is important to pray in the name of Jesus. For not in praying with eloquence, but in the name of Jesus are we saved and helped. It is only in His name that we have access to God the Father. Furthermore, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Philippians 2:10-11 WEB. Therefore, we pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this couple who are in need of Your protection and provision. Lord, You see the pain and fear they are experiencing, and You know the financial burden they are facing. We ask that You stretch out Your hand and heal Your fiancé both physically and emotionally. Provide for his dental needs, Lord, so that he may be restored and his confidence renewed.
We also pray for their safety, Father. Surround them with Your angels and give them peace from all fears. Help them to trust in You and to cast all their anxieties on You, knowing that You care for them deeply.
In the name of Jesus Christ, we rebuke the enemy and his attacks on their mental health and self-esteem. We declare victory in this situation and ask that You turn it around for their good, according to Your promises in Romans 8:28 WEB.
Finally, Lord, we pray that You would draw them closer to You through this trial. Help them to seek Your face and Your will as they navigate this difficult time in Jesus name we pray, Amen.
Lastly, we encourage both of you to be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid, nor be scared of the enemy, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. Joshua 1:9 WEB. Keep trusting in Him, and He will see you through.
