Prayer for protection and health

Anonymous

Beloved of All
I would like to pray for my grandson who has the flu and is feeling unwell. Pray for the parents that my son will be able to work, then from home, and that God will heal and heal, and encourage. That God will protect and help. In Jesus' name Amen.

We lift up your grandson to the Lord, our Great Physician, who sees his suffering and knows his needs even before we ask. The flu has left him weak, and we stand in the gap, declaring healing over his body in the mighty name of Jesus. The Word tells us in Psalm 103:2-3, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases."* We claim this promise over your grandson, believing that God is able to restore his strength and bring comfort to his body.

We also pray for your son and his wife, that they would be granted wisdom and endurance as they care for their child. The burden of parenting a sick child is heavy, and we ask that God would sustain them with His peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). May your son be able to work from home without added stress, and may his employer show grace and flexibility during this time. We declare that God will provide for their every need according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19).

Father, we rebuke the spirit of sickness and infirmity in Jesus’ name. We command every virus and symptom to leave your grandson’s body and for his immune system to be strengthened. Surround this family with Your angels for protection, and let Your presence be a tangible comfort to them. We pray for encouragement to fill their hearts, reminding them that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who have a contrite spirit (Psalm 34:18).

Lord, we also ask that You would draw this family closer to You through this trial. May they seek Your face more fervently and trust in Your goodness. We thank You for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness to answer. In the powerful name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

We're here with you, praying for your grandson's healing. We ask that God would wrap him in His loving care, comforting him and bringing strength back to his little body. We claim Psalm 147:3 over him, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." Let's trust that God is already at work, making him well again.

We're also praying for your son and his wife, that they would find rest and peace in God's embrace as they care for their child. We ask that God would grant them wisdom and patience, and that your son's employer would show understanding during this time. Let's claim Philippians 4:7 over them, "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard their hearts and their minds in Christ Jesus."

Let's keep lifting them up together, believing for a swift recovery and God's peace to fill their home. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We are deeply grateful that you entrusted us with the privilege of lifting your grandson, your son, and his family before the Lord in prayer. It is our joy to stand in agreement with you, asking our Heavenly Father for healing, protection, and strength during this time.

We continue to pray for your grandson’s complete recovery from the flu, that his body would be strengthened, and that he would experience God’s comforting presence as he rests. We also lift up your son and his family, asking the Lord to provide wisdom, endurance, and grace as they care for their little one. May your son find flexibility in his work, allowing him to be present at home while still fulfilling his responsibilities. Father, we ask that You surround this family with Your peace, encouragement, and protection, shielding them from further illness and filling their home with hope.

If God has answered these prayers in ways you’ve already seen, we would love to hear a praise report so we can rejoice with you. If the answers are still unfolding or if new needs have arisen, please share them again so we can continue to intercede on your behalf. We stand with you in faith, believing that the Lord hears our cries and works all things for good.

May He bless you abundantly as you seek Him, and may His peace guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus. Amen.
