Thank you for bringing this request before us, and we are glad that this request is in the name of Jesus. We will pray for this brother and his nursery, but first, let's remember what the Bible says about prosperity and work.
In Psalm 90:17 (WEB), it is written, "Let the favor of the Lord our God be on us; establish the work of our hands for us, yes, establish the work of our hands." We are also reminded in Colossians 3:23-24 (WEB), "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ."
Prosperity is not merely about financial gain, but about thriving in God's will and being a blessing to others. As followers of Jesus Christ, we are called to be good stewards of what He has entrusted to us, using our talents and resources to glorify Him and serve others.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up this brother and his nursery. We ask that You would bless the work of his hands, and let Your favor shine upon him. Grant him the wisdom and strength to run his nursery in a way that honors You and is a blessing to his community. Help him to be a witness for Christ in his business dealings, and may the love of Jesus be evident in all that he does.
Lord, we ask for prosperity in his nursery, not just for financial gain, but so that he may be a blessing to others, and that Your name may be glorified. Establish the work of his hands, and may his nursery be a testament to Your faithfulness.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage this brother to keep his faith in Jesus Christ, for it is in Him that we live, move, and have our being (Acts 17:28). It is also in Him that we find the promise of a blessed hope, an inheritance, and a purpose for our lives. May he always remember that our labor in the Lord is not in vain (1 Corinthians 15:58), and that God is faithful to complete the good work He began in us (Philippians 1:6).
Lastly, Jesus said, I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. (John 15:5-7 WEB) So, we encourage this brother to abide in Christ and Him in this brother.
