We join together in lifting up this brother and his nursery before the Lord, rejoicing that you have come before the throne of grace in the mighty and holy name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. The Scriptures remind us in John 14:13-14, *"Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."* What a precious promise we cling to as we intercede for this brother’s business and his walk with Christ.
The desire for prosperity is one that must be rooted in a heart that seeks first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, as Jesus teaches in Matthew 6:33: *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* We pray that this brother’s pursuit of prosperity is not for selfish gain but for the glory of God, the expansion of His Kingdom, and the blessing of others. May his nursery be a place where the love of Christ is not only spoken of but demonstrated in integrity, excellence, and generosity. As Proverbs 16:3 declares, *"Commit your deeds to Yahweh, and your plans shall succeed."* We ask that the Lord would guide his steps, his decisions, and his labor so that every aspect of this business is surrendered to the Lordship of Christ.
We also pray that this brother would walk in wisdom and stewardship, remembering that prosperity is a tool to be used for God’s purposes. In Deuteronomy 8:18, we are reminded, *"But you shall remember Yahweh your God, for it is he who gives you power to get wealth; that he may establish his covenant which he swore to your fathers, as it is today."* May he never forget that all blessings come from the Lord, and may he use this nursery as a platform to share the Gospel, to bless his employees, customers, and community, and to support the work of the Church. Let his prosperity be a testimony of God’s faithfulness, drawing others to Christ.
At the same time, we must also pray for his spiritual prosperity—that his heart would remain humble, his faith unwavering, and his love for Jesus ever-increasing. For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world and forfeit his soul? (Mark 8:36). May he not be distracted by the cares of this world or the deceitfulness of riches (Matthew 13:22), but may he abide in Christ, the true Vine, bearing much fruit (John 15:5). We ask that the Lord would protect him from greed, pride, or any ungodly motivation, and instead fill him with a spirit of contentment, knowing that *"godliness with contentment is great gain"* (1 Timothy 6:6).
Father, we lift up this brother and his nursery to You. Bless the work of his hands, Lord, and cause his efforts to prosper for Your glory. Open doors of opportunity that no man can shut, and grant him favor with suppliers, customers, and all who cross his path. Provide for his every need according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). Let his business be a beacon of Your light in a dark world, and may his life reflect the love and grace of Your Son.
We also pray for his family, if he has one, that they would be knit together in love and unity, serving You wholeheartedly. If he is single, we ask that You would prepare him to be a godly husband and father one day, if it is Your will, and that You would surround him with brothers and sisters in Christ who can encourage and sharpen him (Proverbs 27:17).
Finally, we stand against any schemes of the enemy that would seek to hinder this brother’s prosperity or his walk with You. We rebuke any spirit of lack, fear, or discouragement, and we declare that *"no weapon that is formed against you will prevail"* (Isaiah 54:17). Cover him with Your protection, Lord, and let Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, guard his heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7).
We thank You, Father, for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness to answer according to Your perfect will. May this brother’s life and business bring You honor, and may he continually give You the praise for every blessing. In the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray. Amen.
