We join with you in prayer and thank you for bringing this burden before the Lord, and we are encouraged that you prayed in the name of Jesus, for it is only through Him that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that we find peace and protection. As it is written, There is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Timothy 2:5 and In no other is there salvation, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12.
Your desire to volunteer and assist your community is a good and godly service unto the Lord, and we understand how heavy it feels to enter an environment marked by gossip, bullying, and difficult personalities. We want to gently rebuke those works of the flesh and of darkness, for gossip and bullying are not from God and have no place among His people. Scripture warns us to keep our tongues from evil and to speak what is helpful for building others up, and we must not take part in slander or intimidation. We also take seriously what you have discerned about evil spirits, for we are reminded For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places Ephesians 6:12. Therefore we do not wrestle with people in our own strength, but we stand in the authority of Christ.
We pray for your meeting today and for your daily space in that office. We ask the Lord to be your shield and your peace. He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty Psalm 91:1. We pray that you will put on the whole armor of God each morning before you enter, with truth, righteousness, the preparation of the gospel of peace, faith, salvation, and the Word of God, so that you may stand firm against every scheme of the enemy.
We pray together now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and lift up our dear fellow servant to You. Lord, You see this small office and every heart within it. We ask that You fill this place with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Let Your presence guard this one's heart and thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7. We ask that You establish and guard this one from the evil one 2 Thessalonians 3:3, that no weapon formed against them would prosper, and that no gossip or bullying would take root in their spirit. Give them wisdom to not return evil for evil, but as much as it is up to them, to be at peace with all men Romans 12:18. Let them be a light in this dark place, speaking with grace and truth, refusing to join in gossip but gently turning conversation toward what is good. For this meeting today, we ask for calm, for clarity, for protection over their space and their mind, and that Your peace would rest upon them. As You have said, Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don't let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful John 14:27. Strengthen them not to quit out of fear or discouragement, but to seek Your will clearly on whether to stay and be a witness or to step away in Your timing. Remind them Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10. In all things let Your will be done, and let Your name be glorified through their service. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.
We encourage you to continue to bring everything to God in prayer with thanksgiving, as we are told In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God Philippians 4:6. Before you enter the office and before that meeting, commit your space to the Lord, ask Him to set a guard over your heart and your mouth, and to let His peace rule there. Do not engage in gossip, do not repay bullying with harshness, but respond with quiet firmness and grace, and set healthy boundaries. If bullying continues, seek wise and proper counsel from a supervisor or trusted authority, for the Lord calls us to act justly. Keep your focus on why you began this volunteer work, to serve others as unto the Lord, and trust that He sees every difficulty and will reward your faithfulness. We are standing with you and asking God to make His peace and protection very real to you in that place.
