PLEASE HELP ME PRAY TO GOD THIS WOMAN HER NAME IS ### MARRIED BY MY HUSBAND BROTHER WHO INSULTS AND HURT ME WITH SONGS AND WORDS, PLEASE HELP ME PRAY TO GOD TO GIVE ME PEACE AND EXPAND MY TERRITORIES as she is blessed with finance she sees as if we are useless in her eyes

We hear your heart and we stand with you in prayer for peace in your home and family. It is painful when words and songs are used to insult and wound you, especially from within the family, and when you feel looked down upon because of finances. We want to lift you up before the Father and share what His Word says about where true peace and true worth are found.

The peace you are asking for is not found in the approval of others but in Christ Himself. Jesus said, Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you, not as the world gives, give I to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful John 14:27. And we are promised, And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:7. We also understand your desire for God to expand your territories. This reminds us of the prayer of Jabez who prayed, Oh that you would bless me indeed, and enlarge my border, and that your hand might be with me, and that you would keep me from evil, that it not be to my sorrow. God granted him that which he requested 1 Chronicles 4:10. God is able to enlarge your life not only financially but spiritually, in influence, in joy, and in favor, as you walk humbly with Him.

We want to gently encourage you in how to respond to this hurt. When someone insults us, our natural response is to defend ourselves or to hold bitterness, but the Lord calls us to a different way. We are told, If it is possible, as much as it is up to you, be at peace with all men Romans 12:18, and Do not repay evil for evil, or insult for insult, but on the contrary, give a blessing, knowing that you were called to this, that you may inherit a blessing 1 Peter 3:9. Also, A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger Proverbs 15:1. And Jesus calls us to love even those who hurt us when He says, But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you Matthew 5:44. This does not mean the insults are acceptable or that your pain is not real, but it means we release this sister-in-law to God and ask Him to change hearts, including our own, so bitterness does not take root. We also want to remind you that your value before God is not measured by money. The Lord does not see as man sees, and financial blessing in another person's life does not make you useless in God's eyes. You are fearfully and wonderfully made and deeply loved, and He is your provider.

We noticed your request asked for prayer to God but did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to lovingly share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and peace with Him. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6. And we are told, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. It is by believing in Jesus, that He died for our sins and rose again, and calling on His name, that we are forgiven and brought into the family of God. If you have not already, we encourage you to put your trust fully in Jesus as Lord and Savior, for it is in His name that our prayers are heard.

We pray together with you now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ and we lift up our dear sister to Your throne of grace. Lord, You see the insults and the hurt caused by words and songs, You see every tear and every wound in her heart, and You know the feeling of being despised for lacking finances. We ask You to pour out Your peace that surpasses all understanding upon her heart and upon her household. Guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus, and let Your presence be her refuge. Father, we pray for her sister-in-law as well, that You would soften her heart, convict her where there is pride or unkindness, and draw her to know Your love and humility. Help our sister to forgive as You have forgiven us, and to answer with gentleness and grace, not returning insult for insult. Lord, we ask You to expand her territories as You did for Jabez, enlarge her borders, bless the work of her hands, provide for every need according to Your riches in glory, and increase her spiritual influence for Your kingdom. Let her find her worth and identity in You alone, not in the opinion of others. Heal her from this pain and let Your joy and peace reign in her home. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.

We encourage you to continue to seek Him daily in prayer and in His Word, to cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you 1 Peter 5:7, and to trust that He who began a good work in you will perfect it. Do not grow weary in doing good, for in due season you will reap if you do not give up. Keep praying for your family, keep blessing those who hurt you, and watch how God will bring peace and increase in His perfect time.

We hear how painful this has been for you, living with ongoing insults and hurtful songs from your husband's brother's wife, and feeling looked down on because of finances. Words like that can cut deeply and wear down your sense of peace and worth, even when there are no physical wounds, and it makes sense you are asking God for real peace and for room to breathe and grow.

You are not useless in God's eyes. Your value is not measured by money or by how another person speaks about you. When someone uses words to belittle or control, it often leaves the person on the receiving end feeling powerless and small, but that feeling does not reflect the truth of who you are.

One small step that has helped others in a similar family strain is to make a simple plan together with your husband for the next time it happens. You might agree beforehand that you will quietly step away when the insults or songs begin, rather than staying to argue, and later let your husband or a trusted mature believer in your church know what happened so you are not carrying it alone. Having that support and a clear boundary can protect your heart while God works on the wider family situation.

Father, we bring our sister before You and ask for Your deep peace to guard her heart and home. Comfort her where words have wounded, restore her confidence in You, and give her and her husband wisdom for how to respond with grace and firm boundaries. Lead her in the good territory You have for her and provide what she needs in Your way and timing. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your cry for peace has been heard, and there is a word from the Lord that meets your trouble. It is written, You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. This is not a peace that comes from quiet circumstances or from having more finance, but a peace that is kept by God Himself for those who stay their minds upon Him.

You speak of insults and hurting words, even songs used to wound you, and of being made to feel useless because another is blessed with money. This is a dark world of sin, and in such a world the blood of Jesus whispers peace within. That peace is a present possession. It does not come by returning insult for insult, but by trusting Christ, by loving His law, and by doing the will of Jesus, for to do the will of Jesus, this is rest. Great peace have they that love Your law, and nothing shall offend them. When the law of God is written in the heart, when we stand in awe of His Word and rejoice in it as one that finds great spoil, we are kept from being overthrown by the offences of others.

The peace which God gives is peace in believing. The God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing. It is a filling peace, a sea that has no bottom nor shore, and it is well founded, for it rests not on your own works or worth, but on Christ who made peace by the blood of His cross. If you have trusted Him, He says to you as He said to the woman who came in faith, Your faith has saved you, go in peace. That word is a dismissal that lasts a lifetime. You may go into the home where you are despised, you may go to your daily duties pressed and tried, and still go in peace, for your heart is resting in God.

We will pray for you according to the will of God.

O Lord, our God of peace, look upon this Your child who is wounded by the words of another. Keep her in perfect peace as her mind is stayed on You. Let the blood of Jesus speak peace to her conscience, and let the Holy Spirit work that peace within her. Teach her to love Your law, to stand in awe of Your Word, and to find great peace therein that nothing shall offend her. Give her grace to forgive as she has been forgiven, to bless them that despitefully use her, and to overcome evil with good. Deliver her from comparing herself through finance and from feeling useless in Your sight, for her worth is in Christ. And as Jabez prayed, expand her territories in a way that pleases You, enlarge her influence, her usefulness, her holiness and her home for Your glory, not for boasting but for the doing of Your will. Fill her with all joy and peace in believing, that she may abound in hope. In the name of Jesus Christ our peace, Amen.

Keep your mind stayed on Christ, trust Him fully, and seek not only enlarged substance but an enlarged heart to love and serve Him. That is true expansion, and with it the Lord will keep you in peace, peace.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your cry for peace has been heard and I join you in bringing it before the Lord today.

To be insulted with songs and cutting words, especially by one so close as your husband's brother's wife, is a deep wound. And to feel looked down upon because she has more money adds to that pain. It is right that you have turned to God for peace instead of turning to anger in return.

Hear what Scripture teaches us about insults. The one who insults is not strong but weak, held captive by anger as by a grievous sickness. Anger is like a wild beast and a temporary madness that quickly brings ruin to the one who harbors it. When you see this, you will not be so vexed, but you will pity the one who insults you, as you would pity someone in a fever, and you will pray for her deliverance rather than answer back with the same words.

Do not return insult for insult. If you are stung and then sting back, people will think the insult was true, and you will kindle a greater fire. But if you hold your peace, you show true strength and wisdom. The Christian, if watchful, can bear poverty, reviling, mocking and slander and still remain above it all, as one outside the storm, laughing it to scorn not in pride but in trust that God is your defender. The insult harms the one who gives it far more than the one who receives it. Keep your mouth for building up and thanksgiving, not for tearing down, and let your silence when provoked be your victory.

I also hear your prayer that God would expand your territories even as you see another blessed with finances. God is able to provide and to enlarge your life, your work, your home and your influence for His glory. Ask Him not from a place of comparison or envy, for riches do not make a person valuable in His eyes, but ask Him to enlarge your faith, your peace, your usefulness and your provision according to His will, so that you may live with a quiet heart and serve Him faithfully where He has placed you.

Let us pray together.

Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, through whom alone we have access to You, I lift up this dear sister before Your throne. Grant her the peace that passes all understanding to guard her heart and mind in Christ Jesus. Quiet the turmoil that harsh words and mocking songs have stirred, and teach her to hold her peace and to practice self control when she is insulted. Heal the hurt of being despised, and free her from any envy or sense of worthlessness. Remind her that her value is in being made in Your image and redeemed by Your Son.

Lord, expand her territory as You see fit. Provide for her needs, enlarge her opportunity to do good, and cause her life to bear fruit for You. Let her not seek increase for boasting or comparison, but for faithfulness and for Your glory.

Father, have mercy also on the woman who has insulted her. Soften her heart, deliver her from a spirit of pride and anger, and bring peace between them. Help both to walk in humility and kindness.

Keep this sister from bitterness. Help her to pity rather than hate, to pray rather than revile, and to overcome evil with good. Let her trust that You see and You will judge with righteousness and mercy.

We ask this in the name of Jesus, our peace and our advocate. Amen.

The pain you have described from ongoing insults, hurtful words and songs, and from feeling looked down on because of finances is very real, and God sees it. Wanting peace in your home and in your heart is a right desire, and wanting God to enlarge your life and provide for you is also right when it is asked with a heart that wants to honor Him.

True peace does not first come from another person changing how they treat you, or from having the same financial standing as someone else. Scripture speaks of a deeper peace, peace with God. We were at war with God because of sin, and the good news is that Jesus Himself is our peace. By His cross He fulfilled what the law required and removed the hostility that separated us from God, so that we can be reconciled and made part of His family. When you have peace with God through faith in Jesus Christ alone, you can then know His peace guarding your heart even while conflict continues around you.

The law of God is good and spiritual. As Jesus taught, it reaches beyond outward actions to the heart and thoughts. In that light we all fall short. The law cannot make anyone righteous and it has no power to enable us to keep it. It only reveals sin and shows us where we have failed, and it condemns. That is why no one can boast before God on the basis of keeping rules or on the basis of outward success. The conscience God has placed in every person bears witness to His standard, so no heart is hidden from Him.

For those who trust in Jesus, there is deliverance. You are no longer under the condemnation of the law but under grace. Because you have died with Christ and been raised to new life, you are set free to serve God in newness of the Spirit and not in the old way of merely trying to keep the letter. In your inner being you can delight in God's law and agree that it is good, even while you feel the struggle that another principle is at work in our human nature, warring against what the mind knows is right. That struggle is common to every believer.

This is why Scripture contrasts the mind set on the flesh with the mind set on the Spirit. The mind set on the flesh brings death and is hostile to God, but the mind set on the Spirit brings life and peace. Love is how that life of the Spirit shows itself, and love actually fulfills what the law requires. If you walk in love you will not seek to harm your neighbor, to steal, to lie, or to repay insult with insult. There is no law against living this way because you are living by a higher principle.

So in this painful family situation, you are not called to prove your worth by financial comparison or to win a contest of words. Your worth is already secure in Christ. You are called to walk by the Spirit, to keep delighting in what God says is good, and to respond with love even when you are provoked. That does not mean the insults are acceptable or that you must pretend they do not hurt. It means you entrust both yourself and the one who hurts you to God who judges justly and who knows every heart.

Praying for God to expand your territory is biblical when it means asking Him to enlarge your capacity to serve Him, to grow you in character, to open doors for good work He has prepared for you, and to provide for your needs according to His wisdom. It is not a prayer to become superior to another person or to be seen as more important in their eyes. God can provide financially and He can enlarge your influence, but His greatest expansion is spiritual, making you more like Christ and making your life a place of peace for others.

I pray with you now that God will give you that peace which comes from knowing you are reconciled to Him through Jesus, that He will quiet your heart and guard your mind, that He will fill you with His Spirit so you can respond with grace and not retaliation, that He will meet your practical needs and enlarge your life in ways that bring Him glory, and that He will also work in the heart of your husband's brother's wife, bringing conviction where needed and healing where possible. May He teach you to rest not in how others see you, but in how He sees you in Christ, loved, provided for, and called to walk in love.
