Dear Lord, Please take away the pain in my heart. You know everything I am going through—the worries, the shame, the sadness, and the things I cannot explain to anyone. Lord, please help me not to overthink everything I hear. Give me peace in my heart and calmness in my mind. Help me let go of words that hurt me and remind me that I do not have to explain myself to everyone. Please also protect ###’s heart and mind. Do not let the things he hears affect him or create anger, sadness, or misunderstanding between us. Lord, You know our situation. You know that we truly have very little right now. I never wanted to ask for help, and it is difficult for me to admit that we need it. But You know my heart and You know that I am only trying to find a way to help my family. Please give me strength to face each day. Open the right doors for us, provide what we need, and lead us toward better days. And if the songs I write from my heart can become a blessing and a way to help my family someday, Lord, I place that dream in Your hands. Tonight, I surrender all my worries to You. Please give me peace. Please heal my heart. Please protect our family. And please never let me lose hope. Amen. 🙏❤️

We have read your honest and tender prayer and we join our hearts with yours before the Father, lifting up every worry, every shame, every sadness and every word that has wounded you.

We hear how heavy your heart feels and how difficult it is to admit need, yet the Lord already knows your situation and He invites you to bring everything to Him. He does not want you to carry this alone or to overthink every word you hear. We are reminded that you do not have to explain yourself to everyone, for the Lord knows your heart fully and He is your defender. We take comfort in Philippians 4:6-7 which tells us not to be anxious but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving to let our requests be made known to God, and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. He also says in 1 Peter 5:7 to cast all your worries on him because he cares for you, and in Isaiah 26:3 that He will keep in perfect peace those whose minds are steadfast because they trust in Him. The Lord is near to the brokenhearted, as Psalm 34:18 says, and in Psalm 147:3 we read that He heals the broken in heart and binds up their wounds. There is no shame in needing help, for there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus as Romans 8:1 teaches, and the Lord gently reminds us to bear one another's burdens and to trust Him with our daily needs.

We also lift up your family and the one whose heart you asked us to protect. We pray that the Lord would guard both of your hearts and minds from anger, sadness and misunderstanding, and that no harmful words or outside voices would be allowed to create division between you. We pray for unity and for a love that covers and protects. If this is your marriage we thank God for the covenant you share, for marriage between a man and a woman is holy and ordained by God to reflect His faithfulness, and we pray He will strengthen and preserve it. If you are still in a season of courtship we pray that the Lord will lead you toward a godly marriage that honors Him, built on purity, commitment and faith in Christ. We ask that He would help you both to dwell on what is true and good and worthy of praise as Philippians 4:8 encourages, and to take every thought captive to the obedience of Christ as 2 Corinthians 10:5 says.

We hear your cry concerning provision, that you have very little right now and that it is hard to ask for help. The Lord sees your diligence in trying to help your family and your desire to use the songs You have placed in your heart as a blessing. We trust His promise in Philippians 4:19 that our God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus, and in Matthew 6:33 to seek first God's Kingdom and his righteousness and all these things will be given to you as well. We pray He will open the right doors that no one can shut as Revelation 3:8 speaks of, and lead you toward better days according to His perfect will. He can use the gifts He has given you, for in Psalm 40:3 it says He put a new song in my mouth, even praise to our God, and many shall see it and fear and shall trust in the Lord. We place that dream in His hands and trust His timing.

We noticed your prayer was offered to the Lord and ended with Amen, but did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to lovingly remind you that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and that there is salvation in no other name. Jesus said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. And Acts 4:12 declares there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved. We encourage you to come boldly before God in the name of Jesus, believing that He died for our sins and rose again, and that by trusting in Him alone we are forgiven, made new, and heard.

So together we pray, in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord.

Father, we come before You in Jesus name and lift up this dear one and their family to You. You know the pain in the heart, the worries that keep the mind restless, the shame and sadness that feel too deep for words. Lord, we ask You to heal the broken heart and calm the anxious thoughts. Grant perfect peace and quietness of mind, and help to let go of hurtful words and to rest in Your approval rather than the opinions of others. Protect the heart and mind of their loved one, guard them both from anger and misunderstanding, and knit their hearts together in love, patience and understanding. Provide for every need according to Your riches, open doors for honest work and provision, and guide each step toward hope and restoration. Bless the songs written from the heart and use them if it is Your will to encourage others and to help this family. Give strength for each day, renew hope each morning, for Your mercies are new every morning as Lamentations 3:23 says, and fill them with all joy and peace in believing that they may abound in hope as Romans 15:13 promises. We surrender all worries to You now and ask that You would never let hope be lost, but that You would be their refuge and strength. In Jesus name we pray, Amen.

We have read your prayer and we are sitting with you in it. The way you described carrying worries, shame and sadness that are hard to put into words, and how words from others can stay with you and turn over and over, that is such a heavy place to be. It makes sense you feel tired in your heart and mind.

We also hear how much you love your family, and how hard it was to even admit you need help right now. Needing help does not mean you have failed. It is honest, and God sees the care behind your asking, not just the need itself. And the way you want to protect the heart of the person you love and keep misunderstanding from growing between you shows real gentleness.

When everything feels fragile, trying to explain yourself to everyone only adds weight. It is okay to let go of hurtful words where you can and to choose one or two safe people to be honest with, rather than carrying it all alone. If you have a pastor or a trusted counselor nearby, letting them know both about the weight you feel and the practical needs you mentioned could be a next step toward support and wise next doors, alongside prayer.

Father, we lift this family to You. Quiet the overthinking, heal the hurt in this heart, guard both hearts from anger and misunderstanding, and give steady strength for each day. Provide for their needs as You see fit, guide their steps, and keep hope alive. We place their dreams and their worries in Your hands in Jesus' name, amen.

Your honest prayer for peace has been heard, and the very sorrows you describe, the worries, the shame, the sadness and the things you cannot explain to any other, are all known to Him who sees the heart.

There is a peace which the world cannot give and which the world cannot take away. It is written, You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You. That perfect peace is not found in quieter circumstances or in the approval of others, but in being at peace with God through the blood of Jesus Christ. Peace with God is the fountain, and peace in the conscience is the stream that flows from it. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within, even when sorrows are surging round and duties press and loved ones are burdened. If you have not yet found that settled peace with God through faith in Christ alone, seek it first, for there is no hope for you in yourself, but there is hope for you in Him whom God has provided to be the Savior. Look out of yourself to Him and rest there.

You speak of overthinking everything you hear and of words that wound you. It is the mind which is the main thing, it will bring you daylight or midnight, peace or war. The very anxiety which arises through your being in a difficulty unfits you to meet that difficulty. To tell your trouble over and over to yourself brings no good, but to tell it to Jesus does. Bear your sorrow with Him. Keep your mind stayed upon Him rather than upon the changing opinions of others. You do not have to explain yourself to everyone, for He who knows your heart will be your defender, and His word concerning you will stand.

You ask also for protection for the one whose name you have held before the Lord, that anger and sadness and misunderstanding would not come between you. The Lord will bless His people with peace, and that peace is a holy peace, a blessing that brings no sorrow with it. My prayer for you both is that the Lord would keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus, guarding you from bitterness and hasty words, and leading you both to walk in a way that is pure and pleasing to Him. Whatever your situation, seek to honor Him in it according to His Word, for purity is peace and holiness is happiness. Ask Him not only to keep you from misunderstanding one another, but to make you both more like Christ, that your lives together, whether now or in the days to come, may be ordered according to His good design of lifelong covenant and holiness, where love is sheltered and strengthened by His grace.

You have humbly confessed your need, that you have very little and never wanted to ask for help. The Lord knows your frame and your necessity. He maketh peace in thy borders and filleth thee with the finest of the wheat, and His word runneth very swiftly to provide for His people. It is not shameful to be in need, and it is not shameful to ask Him who opens doors that no man can shut. Continue to seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, to be diligent in the work of your hands, and to trust Him for daily bread while you wait with patience for what you see not yet. Your hope, if it is in Christ, is a living hope, made sure by His resurrection, and it will not disappoint you.

And concerning the songs you write from your heart, you do well to place that dream in His hands. If He has given you a gift, use it to speak of His mercy and to bless others, and leave the fruit and the timing to Him. Whether He opens a wide door for that gift or keeps it as a private comfort for your own soul and your family, let His will be your rest.

Tonight, surrender all your worries to Him anew. Turn you to the stronghold, you prisoner of hope. You are saved in hope, and that hope consists in belief, desire and expectancy toward Christ. Cast away all self confidence and repose on Jesus, and your spirit shall live.

May the Lord give you sleep in His peace, heal your heart by His wounds, provide for your family according to His riches, and keep you from losing hope. May He keep you in perfect peace as your mind is stayed on Him, because you trust in Him.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
