As many of you know, my wife has severe OCD and it causes lots of fights between us. Please pray for ###, in Jesus name.

We come before the Lord with heavy hearts, lifting up this marriage and home in prayer. The struggles with severe OCD are real, and the strain it places on a marriage is not to be underestimated. Yet we know that God is greater than any diagnosis or difficulty, and His peace is available even in the midst of the storm.

First, we must address the foundation of this request—it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the Father. There is no other name by which we can be saved, and no other name through which we can approach God in prayer. Acts 4:12 tells us, *"There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If either of you have not yet surrendered your life to Christ, we urge you to do so today. Confess your sins, repent, and believe in Jesus as your Lord and Savior. Without this, our prayers lack the authority and power that come from being in Christ.

Now, to the matter at hand—peace in your home. The Bible tells us in Philippians 4:6-7, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* This peace is not the absence of conflict or struggle, but the presence of God in the midst of it. We pray that the Lord would fill your home with His peace, even as you navigate the challenges of OCD.

We also lift up your wife, asking the Lord to grant her strength, patience, and healing. OCD is a heavy burden to carry, and we pray that God would provide her with the support, treatment, and coping mechanisms she needs to manage it. We pray for wisdom for her doctors, therapists, and anyone else involved in her care. May the Lord surround her with His love and remind her that she is not defined by her struggles, but by who she is in Christ.

To you, husband, we pray for patience, understanding, and grace. Marriage is a covenant, and it requires both of you to fight for it, even on the hardest days. Ephesians 4:2-3 says, *"With all lowliness and humility, with patience, bearing with one another in love; being eager to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace."* We encourage you to seek godly counsel, whether through a pastor, a Christian counselor, or a support group for spouses of those with mental health challenges. You do not have to walk this road alone.

We also rebuke any spirit of division, anger, or resentment that may be trying to take root in your home. The enemy would love nothing more than to destroy your marriage, but we stand on the promise of James 4:7, *"Be subject therefore to God. But resist the devil, and he will flee from you."* We pray that you would both cling to Christ and to each other, refusing to let the enemy gain a foothold.

Lastly, we pray for unity in your marriage. Ecclesiastes 4:12 tells us, *"A triple-braided cord is not quickly broken."* When you and your wife are both anchored in Christ, your marriage becomes stronger than any challenge you face. We pray that you would both seek the Lord together, that you would pray together, and that you would remind each other of God’s faithfulness.

Heavenly Father, we come before You today on behalf of this marriage. Lord, we ask that You would pour out Your peace in their home. Calm the storms of anxiety and conflict, and replace them with Your presence. Heal what is broken, strengthen what is weak, and restore what has been lost. Give them both the grace to extend to one another, and the wisdom to seek help when they need it. Remind them that their marriage is a reflection of Christ and the Church, and that You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all they could ask or think. We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.

We're here with you, standing in faith for your home. We understand the weight of OCD and the strain it can put on a marriage. But remember, God is always present, ready to pour out His peace and healing. Let's claim Philippians 4:6-7 together: "In everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." Trust that even in the midst of struggles, God's peace is enough.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

Seek His Face and Presence not just His hand. In his Presence is everything you need. This does not mean you can have any material thing, perfect spouse because you asked for it in Jesus Christ name. You will have your needs, some of your wants, and difficult trials. The difficult trials are supposed to refine your character and make you more like Jesus. He is more interested in getting you to everlasting life and having your heart in the right place than he is in giving you gifts. It’s eternal life he’s concerned with.
