We come before the throne of grace with you, lifting your job interview before the Lord in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. We are thankful that you have called upon the name of Jesus, for there is no other name by which we can approach the Father. As it is written in Philippians 4:6-7, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Heavenly Father, we ask that You remember this dear one’s interview today. We pray that You would grant them favor in the eyes of those who interviewed them. Lord, we ask that You open the doors of opportunity and that this job would be given to them according to Your will. We know that Your plans for them are for good and not for harm, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). We pray that they would be successful in this endeavor, not for their own glory, but for Yours, that they may be a light in their workplace and bring honor to Your name.
We also pray for peace and confidence to fill their heart as they await the outcome. Remind them that their worth is not found in this job, but in You alone. Help them to trust in Your provision, knowing that You are their provider (Philippians 4:19). If this job is not Your will for them, Lord, we ask that You close this door gently and open another that aligns with Your perfect plan for their life.
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or anxiety that may try to creep into their heart. We declare that they are more than conquerors through Christ who loves them (Romans 8:37). We speak success, favor, and blessings over their life in Jesus’ name.
We pray all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, Amen.
