Prayer for new season

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Need for prayer for a feel a new season is coming and changes to come as well. I pray I get ready so I am not surprised and unprepared.

We hear your heart’s cry for readiness as you sense a new season approaching, and we join you in seeking the Lord’s guidance and strength. Change can bring both excitement and uncertainty, but we know that God does not bring us into anything without equipping us for it. The Word reminds us in Isaiah 43:19, "Behold, I will do a new thing. It springs out now. Don’t you know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert." God is already at work, even in the unseen, preparing the path before you.

Yet, we must also examine our hearts to ensure we are not leaning on our own understanding but fully trusting in Him. Proverbs 3:5-6 tells us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Are you seeking Him first in this season, or are there areas where fear or self-reliance may be creeping in? We encourage you to surrender every concern, every unknown, and every hope into His hands, for He alone knows the plans He has for you, plans for welfare, not for evil, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).

We also want to gently remind you that true preparation begins with a right relationship with God through Jesus Christ. If you have not yet placed your faith in Him as your Lord and Savior, we urge you to do so without delay. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." There is no other name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and it is only through Him that we have access to the Father. If you have already confessed Him as Lord, we rejoice with you! But if not, we pray you would turn to Him today, for He is the firm foundation upon which all true preparation rests.

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with hearts open to Your leading. We lift up our brother/sister to You, asking that You would prepare their heart, mind, and spirit for the new season You have ordained. Lord, remove any fear, doubt, or hesitation, and replace it with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Help them to trust in You with all their heart and to acknowledge You in every step they take. Father, we ask that You would reveal any areas where they may be relying on themselves rather than on You, and grant them the humility to surrender those areas to Your will.

We pray for wisdom and discernment as they navigate the changes ahead, that they would not be caught unaware but would walk in the confidence of Your guidance. Lord, if there are any unconfessed sins or areas of disobedience in their life, we ask that You would bring them to light and grant them the grace to repent and turn away from them. Cleanse them by the blood of Jesus and renew a steadfast spirit within them.

Father, we also pray for divine connections and godly influences in this new season. Surround them with believers who will sharpen them, encourage them, and hold them accountable to Your Word. May their life be a reflection of Your glory, drawing others to You.

Above all, Lord, we ask that You would be their strength and their song. May they find their identity and security in You alone, knowing that You hold their future. We declare that this new season will be one of growth, blessing, and deeper intimacy with You. In the mighty name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.

As you step into this new season, remember that God’s timing is perfect, and His ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9). Stay rooted in His Word, remain in prayer, and surround yourself with a community of believers who will walk alongside you. The enemy may try to bring distraction or discouragement, but we rebuke those lies in Jesus’ name. You are not alone, God goes before you, He walks beside you, and His Spirit dwells within you. Stand firm in the faith, and watch how He moves in ways you never imagined!

We are grateful you shared this with us. Sensing a new season coming can bring both hope and a little unease, and wanting to be prepared shows a thoughtful heart. We hear your desire not to be surprised but to walk into what is next with steadiness.

Often when change is near, the most helpful preparation is simple and steady rather than trying to figure everything out at once. Staying faithful in the small daily things, prayer, time in the Word, caring for responsibilities already in front of you, keeps you grounded while God makes the next steps clearer.

One practical step that may help is to set aside a quiet half hour this week to write down what you sense might be changing, what is already certain, and one or two small ways you can prepare practically. It can also help to share those thoughts with a trusted pastor or mature friend who knows you and can pray with you and offer perspective as things unfold.

Father, we lift our friend to You and thank You that You see this coming season even before it arrives. Give clear wisdom, calm readiness, and peace in the waiting. Help them to trust Your leading day by day and to be prepared for what You have next. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

🙏Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so. Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

Your desire to be made ready for what lies before you is itself a mercy from the Lord, for to everything there is a season, and it is wise to seek preparation from Him who orders all seasons. We are not left to prepare ourselves by our own strength, for true readiness is found only in Christ.

Remember how David prepared in abundance for the temple which Solomon should afterwards build. He gathered and fashioned in quiet what would be needed in the day of building. So the Lord would have you now in this waiting time to be gathering from His Word, abiding in prayer, and resting more fully upon the finished work of Christ at Golgotha. If you trust Christ, you are saved, for he that believes on the Son has everlasting life, and that same Savior who bore your sin will keep the feet of His saints in every new season.

He who sits upon the throne says, Behold, I make all things new. If He has made you a new creature in Christ, then no change that comes can find you without a refuge, for He will supply all that your soul thirsts for. Do not attempt to make yourself fit by your own resolve, but come to Jesus just as you are, and find in Him pardon, strength, and persevering grace.

We will pray for you, that the Lord would make you watchful and established in the faith, that you would not be surprised nor moved, but rooted and grounded in His love. May He increase in you spiritual life, activity and holiness, and grant you a holy calm in the face of change, knowing that He who has begun a good work in you will perform it. May He lead you gently by the hand till you see more clearly His New Covenant promise, and may you be kept trusting in Jesus alone, who alone can save and keep your soul.

Your prayer for readiness as a new season approaches has been heard, and it is good that you ask not only for change to come but for a heart prepared to meet it without fear or surprise.

The wise preparation is to look to one object only, how to order your own life with strictness. When we despise the passing things of the present and prepare ourselves for what is to come, our very life becomes a quiet testimony. Our citizenship is in heaven and our life is hid with Christ in God, and our prizes and our race are for the crowns that are there. This life is not dissolved after the end, but then it shines forth the more.

So do not despise the care of your soul in this time of waiting. If one part of life neglected can bring great harm, how much more should we give heed on every side so that we may be saved, preparing the medicines of almsgiving and attending faithfully to our wounds, turning from sin with godly sorrow which alone brings advantage, and serving righteousness as diligently as we once served other masters.

Let every season belong to the hearing of the Word of God. Let food and rest and daily duties have their appointed time, but let the teaching of heavenly wisdom have no separate time. Meditate on His law day and night, for the teaching of the soul, the more it is prolonged, the stronger it renders the soul that receives it. Do not be content to hunger only a little, but ask God to awaken in you a true hunger and thirst for spiritual food.

We pray with you now, that the Lord who knows the season you are entering will make you watchful and steady, stripping away what hinders, clothing you with humility and courage, and ordering your steps. May He grant you wisdom to number your days, grace to be faithful in small things, strength to endure hardship, and confidence rooted in holiness and hope of everlasting life. May you be found ready, not trusting in your own preparation, but in Christ who goes before you and keeps you to the end. Amen.
