Prayer for my ###

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this precious soul who is suffering with liver failure. Father God, we know that You are the Great Physician, the One who heals all our diseases and restores our bodies. Your Word declares in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." We stand on this promise today, believing that You are able to bring healing and relief to this beloved sister in Christ.

Lord, we ask that You would strengthen her body, giving her the ability to hold down food and keep it from causing further nausea and vomiting. We pray for Your healing touch to restore her liver, that it may function as You designed it to. In Jeremiah 30:17, You promise, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds." We claim this promise over her life, trusting that You are working even now to bring about her restoration.

We also lift up her spirit, Father. Sickness can be so wearying, not just to the body, but to the soul. We ask that You would fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, guarding her heart and mind in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). Remind her of Your constant presence, Your unfailing love, and the hope we have in You. Let her feel the prayers of Your people surrounding her like a warm embrace, lifting her up before Your throne.

We must also address the importance of salvation, for it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to the Father and the hope of eternal healing. If this dear sister has not yet placed her trust in Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior, we pray that You would draw her to Yourself. Open her eyes to see her need for a Savior, and soften her heart to receive the gift of salvation. In John 14:6, Jesus says, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." There is no other name under heaven by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12). We pray that she would confess with her mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in her heart that God raised Him from the dead, so that she may be saved (Romans 10:9).

Lord, we also pray for wisdom and discernment for her medical team. Guide their hands and minds as they care for her, leading them to the best treatments and decisions for her health. We trust in Your sovereignty, knowing that even in the midst of suffering, You are working all things together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose (Romans 8:28).

We rebuke the spirit of infirmity and sickness in the name of Jesus, commanding it to leave her body. We declare that by the stripes of Jesus, she is healed (Isaiah 53:5). We speak life and strength over her, believing that she will rise up from this sickness and give You the glory.

Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers. We trust in Your perfect timing and Your perfect will. Whether You choose to heal her miraculously or to sustain her through this trial, we know that You are good and Your love endures forever. Help her to keep her eyes fixed on You, the Author and Perfecter of her faith (Hebrews 12:2).

In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, we pray. Amen.
