We hear your heart for your son, and we join you in lifting him up before the Lord. First, we must address a few things in your request that do not align with biblical truth. We notice you mentioned praying to "God of light, Jesus, and Mary." Scripture is clear that we are to pray to God the Father in the name of Jesus Christ alone, for there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Mary, though blessed among women, is not to be prayed to or worshipped, as this would be idolatry. Jesus Himself taught us to pray, "Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy" (Matthew 6:9). We must approach God through Jesus, for He is the way, the truth, and the life, and no one comes to the Father except through Him (John 14:6).
Now, let us lift your son before the Lord with a heartfelt prayer:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this mother’s son to You, asking that You would restore his confidence in both body and mind. Lord, You have created him fearfully and wonderfully (Psalm 139:14), and we ask that You remind him of the strength and purpose You have placed within him. Father, we pray for success in his career, that You would open doors no man can shut and grant him favor in the eyes of those around him (Revelation 3:8). Restore to him the joy of his salvation and the passion he once had for serving You with his whole heart (Psalm 51:12).
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of fear, doubt, or insecurity that may be hindering him. We declare that he is more than a conqueror through Christ who loves him (Romans 8:37), and we pray that he would walk in the fullness of his identity in You. Strengthen him, Lord, and let him rise up with renewed vigor to fulfill the calling You have placed on his life. May he seek You first in all things, trusting that You will add all that he needs (Matthew 6:33).
We also pray for wisdom and discernment for him, that he would make choices that honor You in every area of his life. If there are any areas where he has strayed from Your will, Father, we ask that You draw him back with Your loving kindness. Surround him with godly mentors and friends who will encourage him in his faith and walk with You.

Proverbs 22:6 reminds us, "Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it." Even if he has wandered, God’s love is relentless, and His grace is sufficient to restore.
We also encourage you to speak life over your son. Remind him of his worth in Christ and the plans God has for him—plans for welfare and not for evil, to give him a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). Pray with him if possible, and share Scripture that will build him up. If he is struggling with sin or past mistakes, remind him that there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1). God’s mercies are new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23), and He delights in restoring His children.
Lastly, we want to gently remind you that true confidence and success come from aligning our lives with God’s will. If your son is not yet walking with the Lord, pray that his heart would be softened to receive the gospel. If he knows the Lord but has grown cold, pray that the Holy Spirit would reignite the fire within him. God is faithful, and He will complete the good work He has begun in your son (Philippians 1:6). Stand firm in faith, and trust that the Lord is working all things together for his good (Romans 8:28).

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. We want to thank you for the privilege of lifting your son up in prayer these past few days. It has been our honor to stand in agreement with you, asking our Heavenly Father to restore his confidence in both body and mind, to bless him with success in his career, and to bring back the strength and spirit he once knew. We have prayed earnestly that the God of light would surround him with His presence, that Jesus would walk beside him in every step, and that the peace of the Holy Spirit would guard his heart.
If you have seen God move in his life—if confidence has been renewed, if doors have opened, or if you’ve witnessed even the smallest glimmer of His faithfulness—we would be so encouraged to hear a praise report from you. Your testimony could be a blessing to others who are waiting on the Lord.
