Prayer for my ###

Miaskuinron

Disciple of Prayer
Please keep my daughter, ###, in your prayers. She is currently struggling with her faith and feeling distant from God. She’s spending time with people who do not reflect godly values and may not have her best interests at heart.

We lift up your daughter before the Lord, knowing that He deeply cares for her and desires to draw her back into His loving arms. It is heartbreaking to see a child of God struggling in their faith, especially when they are surrounded by influences that do not honor Him. The Word of God warns us in 1 Corinthians 15:33, *"Don’t be deceived! ‘Evil companionships corrupt good morals.’"* The company we keep can either strengthen our walk with Christ or pull us away from Him, and we pray that your daughter’s eyes will be opened to the truth of this scripture.

We also remember the promise in Proverbs 22:6, *"Train up a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not depart from it."* Though she may be straying now, the seeds of faith planted in her heart remain, and we trust that the Holy Spirit is at work to bring her back to repentance and renewal. Let us also recall the parable of the lost sheep in Luke 15:4-7, where Jesus tells us that there is great joy in heaven over one sinner who repents. Your daughter is precious to Him, and He is pursuing her even now.

At the same time, we must address the urgency of this situation with both prayer and wisdom. If she is walking with those who do not share godly values, she is at risk of being led further into compromise, worldly desires, or even sinful behaviors that grieve the Holy Spirit. As parents and believers, we are called to speak the truth in love (Ephesians 4:15) and to warn those we care about of the dangers of turning away from God. If she is open to it, gently but firmly remind her of the consequences of hardening her heart. Hebrews 3:12-13 says, *"Beware, brothers, lest perhaps there be in any one of you an evil heart of unbelief, in falling away from the living God; but exhort one another day by day, so long as it is called ‘today’; lest any one of you be hardened by the deceitfulness of sin."*

Let us pray together for her:

Heavenly Father, we come before You with heavy yet hopeful hearts, lifting up this precious daughter who is struggling in her faith. Lord, You see her wandering heart, her doubts, and the influences that are pulling her away from You. We ask that You break every chain of deception and draw her back to Yourself with cords of lovingkindness. Surround her with Your presence so tangibly that she cannot ignore Your voice. Place godly friends and mentors in her path who will speak Your truth into her life and encourage her to return to You.

Convict her heart, Lord, of any sin or compromise she may be entertaining. Open her eyes to see the emptiness of worldly pleasures compared to the joy and peace found in You alone. Let her remember the faith she once had and stir within her a hunger to know You more deeply. Protect her from the enemy’s lies and give her the strength to walk away from relationships or environments that do not honor You.

We also pray for her parents, that You would give them wisdom, patience, and the right words to speak as they guide her. Let them be a living example of Your love and grace, so that she may see Christ in them. Remind them to trust in You, even when they cannot see the outcome, knowing that You are faithful to complete the good work You have started in her (Philippians 1:6).

Father, we rebuked any spiritual forces of darkness that seek to blind her to Your truth. We declare that no weapon formed against her will prosper (Isaiah 54:17) and that she will be restored to a vibrant, unshakable faith in Jesus Christ. Let this season of struggle be a testimony of Your redeeming power, where she emerges stronger, wiser, and more devoted to You than ever before.

We ask all this in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Redeemer, who alone has the power to save and transform. Amen.

Finally, we encourage you to continue standing in the gap for your daughter through prayer and fasting if led. Share Scripture with her when opportunities arise, and trust that God’s Word will not return void (Isaiah 55:11). Even if she resists now, your prayers are planting seeds that the Lord will water in His perfect timing. Stay steadfast, for *"he who sows in tears will reap in joy"* (Psalm 126:5). We are standing with you in faith, believing for her restoration.

We're right there with you, sister, lifting our daughter up in prayer too. It's heart-wrenching to see our loved ones struggle in their faith, especially when they're surrounded by influences that don't honor God. But remember, our God is a God of second chances, and He's pursuing her even now. Let's cling to that promise in Luke 15, where Jesus tells us that there's great joy in heaven over one sinner who repents.

Let's also remind ourselves of the parable of the prodigal son. The father didn't give up on his wayward son; instead, he waited patiently, and when the son returned, he welcomed him with open arms. Our heavenly Father is like that too. He's waiting, longing for her to return to Him.

While we trust in God's unfailing love, we must also be wise and speak the truth in love. Let's gently remind her of the consequences of turning away from God. We can share Hebrews 3:12-13 with her, encouraging her not to let her heart be hardened by sin's deceitfulness.

Let's pray together:

Dear Lord, we come before You with hopeful hearts, trusting in Your unfailing love for our daughter. Lord, You see her wandering heart, her doubts, and the influences pulling her away from You. We ask that You draw her back to Yourself with cords of lovingkindness. Surround her with Your presence so tangibly that she can't ignore Your voice. Place godly friends and mentors in her path to encourage her to return to You.

Convict her heart, Lord, of any sin or compromise she may be entertaining. Open her eyes to see the emptiness of worldly pleasures compared to the joy and peace found only in You. Stir within her a hunger to know You more deeply. Protect her from the enemy's lies and give her the strength to walk away from relationships or environments that don't honor You.

We also pray for her parents, that You would give them wisdom, patience, and the right words to speak as they guide her. Let them be a living example of Your love and grace, so that she may see Christ in them.

In Jesus' mighty and holy name, we pray. Amen.

Let's keep standing in the gap for her, sister. Our prayers are planting seeds that the Lord will water in His perfect timing. Stay steadfast, for He who sows in tears will reap in joy. We're standing with you in faith, believing for her restoration.

We want to thank you for allowing us the honor of lifting your daughter before the Lord in these past days. It has been our privilege to stand with you in prayer, interceding for her heart, her faith, and the company she keeps. We know how deeply it must weigh on you to see her struggling, and we have been earnestly asking God to draw her back to Himself, to surround her with His love, and to place godly influences in her path—people who will reflect His truth and grace.

If you’ve seen even the smallest glimmer of hope or a shift in her spirit, we would love for you to share a praise report with us. Every step toward God is worth celebrating, and your testimony could encourage others who are praying for their loved ones. If the burden still feels heavy and her heart seems unchanged, please don’t hesitate to post an update or a new request. We are here to continue standing with you, believing that God is at work even when we cannot yet see the fruit.

Let us also remind you that while we pray for your daughter, we are lifting *you* up as well. The Lord sees your faithfulness, your love, and your tears. He is your strength in this season, and He will never abandon you or her. Keep trusting Him, keep speaking life over her, and keep pointing her to Jesus—even when it feels like your words are falling on hard soil. His Word does not return void.

May the Lord fill you with His peace as you wait on Him, and may He open your daughter’s eyes to His unfailing love. We are still praying with you, still believing for breakthrough, and still trusting in His perfect timing. In Jesus Name.
