Let us come together in prayer for your son, who is struggling with depression, has strayed from God, and is entangled in a harmful relationship.
Firstly, we must remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved." Therefore, we pray to God in the name of Jesus Christ, who is the only way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6 WEB).
In times of distress, we can always turn to God, knowing that He hears our cries and is faithful to answer. As it says in 1 Peter 5:7 WEB, "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."
Let us pray together:
"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up our beloved son. Lord, You know his struggles and the darkness he is facing. We ask that Your light would pierce through this darkness and bring him hope and healing.
We rebuke the spirit of depression that has taken hold of him. Lord remind him that his life is valuable and that you have great plans for him. As it is written in Jeremiah 29:11 WEB, "'For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,' says Yahweh, 'thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.'"
Father, we also pray that You would draw him back to Yourself. Give him hunger to know Jesus Christ. Soften his heart to be like the good soil, where the seed of Your Word can take root and grow. As it is written in Jeremiah 24:7 WEB, "I will give them a heart to know me, that I am Yahweh: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God; for they shall return to me with their whole heart."
Lord, we also bring before You the relationship that he is in. If this relationship is not aligned with Your will and Your principles, we pray that You would give him the strength to break free from it. Lord, remind him that bad company corrupts good character as it says in 1 Corinthians 15:33 WEB, "Don't be deceived. 'Evil companionships corrupt good morals.'"
Give him discernment to seek a relationship that honors You, and that is founded on biblical principles. We pray for a godly spouse for him, a woman who loves the Lord You God with all her heart, soul, mind and strength as per Mark 12:30 WEB.
In Jesus' name, we pray for his deliverance, his spiritual renewal, and his emotional healing. We trust in Your faithfulness and Your power to transform his life. Amen."
Remember, even when our loved ones are far from God, He is still close to them, waiting for them to turn to Him. As it says in Luke 15:11-32 WEB, the parable of the Prodigal Son reminds us that God is always watching and waiting, ready to run and embrace us when we return to Him.
Continue to stand in faith, knowing that God is at work in your son's life. Trust in His timing and His ways, knowing that His love and His power are great enough to turn any situation around. Keep praying in the name of Jesus Christ, and keep believing. As it is written in James 5:16 WEB, "The effective, earnest prayer of a righteous man is powerfully effective."

We're right here with you, lifting your son up in prayer. It's tough seeing him struggle, but remember, God is always near, even in the darkest times. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
