Prayer for my son ###

Pray for my son ### who has jury trial on the 13th. That his outcome will be in his favor. He is looking at alot of time. Give him comfort father god that he will be ok.

We are lifting up your son before the Lord with you as he faces this jury trial on the ###, and we understand the weight and fear you carry as a parent when your child is looking at a lot of time. We hear your cry for comfort and for a favorable outcome, and we bring this before our Father together in Jesus' name.

We want to encourage you that God is both just and merciful, and He sees all that is hidden. He loves justice and truth. As it is written, He has established his throne for judgment. He will judge the world in righteousness. He will administer judgment to the peoples in uprightness Psalm 9:7-8, and The Lord loves justice Psalm 37:28. We also cling to His promise to be near in distress, for The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit Psalm 34:18, and Fear not, for I am with you. Do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness Isaiah 41:10. Whatever the evidence and whatever the truth of this situation, God is not absent from that courtroom.

We must pray not simply for an outcome in his favor if that would mean escaping truth or avoiding rightful consequences, but for God's perfect will to be done with both justice and mercy. If your son has done wrong, the most loving and biblical path is repentance and taking responsibility before God and before man, trusting that God can redeem even prison time for good. If he is innocent of the charges, we pray that the truth will be made clear to the jury and judge. In all things we pray that justice will prevail Proverbs 21:15 and that God will work all things together for good for those who love Him Romans 8:28. We also pray for comfort that is not dependent on the verdict, but rooted in the peace of Christ, for God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble Psalm 46:1.

We noticed your prayer was addressed to Father God but did not mention Jesus, and we want to gently share why we always pray in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father. Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6, and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. To have true comfort and peace that your son will be okay, no matter the outcome of this trial, he and you need to be reconciled to God through faith in Jesus, believing that He died for our sins and rose again, confessing Him as Lord and turning from sin to follow Him. That is the only foundation for lasting hope beyond any court decision.

Let us pray together.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and lift up this son to Your throne of grace. You know his name, his heart, his actions, and the full truth of this case. We ask that You would be with him in these days leading up to the ###, that You would calm his fear and grant him Your comfort and strength. We pray for the jury, the judge, the attorneys and all witnesses, that truth would be spoken and heard clearly, that no lie would stand and no truth would be hidden, and that justice tempered with mercy would be done. Lord, if there is sin that needs to be confessed, bring him to repentance and godly sorrow. If there is innocence, make it evident. We ask that Your will be done in that courtroom above all our wishes. Comfort this parent as well, guard their heart with Your peace that surpasses understanding, and draw this whole family closer to Jesus through this trial. Bring salvation and godly counsel around them, and let them know that whether in freedom or in confinement, You are able to keep, to restore, and to redeem. We ask all this in the saving name of Jesus Christ our Lord, amen.

We encourage you to continue to pray without ceasing, to seek godly counsel and to ensure your son has honest legal counsel, and to speak openly with him about his need for Jesus above all else. Keep trusting the Lord to be his comfort and his judge, for He is faithful.

We hear how heavy this wait must feel as the ### approaches, knowing your son is facing so much time. It is such a helpless feeling as a parent to love so deeply and not be able to carry this for him. We are standing with you in prayer.

In these days before the trial, it can help to have a couple of steady anchors. If you are able, a short, simple note to your son reminding him he is loved and prayed for can mean a lot to him, whether or not you can be in the courtroom. And for you, having one or two trusted people who know the date and can check in, sit with you, or pray with you can make the waiting less isolating. If worry makes it hard to rest, try to keep your normal routines and let those people help shoulder the burden.

We are asking God to draw near to both of you with His peace that steadies the heart, to give wisdom and clarity to everyone involved in the trial, and to let justice be done with mercy. We pray your son would sense he is not alone and that you would feel supported day by day.

Father, we lift this mother and her son to You. Surround him with Your presence and calm his fears in the days ahead. Guide the jury and all who take part toward what is true and just, and uphold this family with Your comfort and strength. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer for your son has been heard and we join you in carrying it before the throne of grace. To wait for a jury trial with so much at stake is to feel the sentence of death in oneself, that creeping fear which makes the heart full of horror. The Lord often places His people in such bewildering circumstances for this very reason, that we may become sick of ourselves and fond of Christ, that we may know our own folly and trust ourselves with purpose of heart to the Divine Wisdom.

We do not pray for a perversion of justice, but we do pray for mercy within justice, and for truth to be made plain on the 13th. We pray that the Lord, who raises the dead and can call together what has been broken and rebuild it, would be near to your son in that courtroom. If he has not already done so, may this solemn hour drive him to trust not in himself, nor in the arguments of men, but in the God and Father of our risen Lord Jesus Christ. For Christ is our peace, and other foundation can no man lay.

There is a peace which the world gives which is but a crust of ice, hardly strong enough to bear a fly, and it will fail in the day of trial. There is another peace, perfect peace, which is kept for him whose mind is stayed upon God. The blood of Jesus whispers peace within. We pray that your son may know that peace, whether the verdict be as you hope or not, that he may be delivered from that fear of death and of judgment which keeps men all their lifetime subject to bondage. May he look to Jesus Christ on the cross atoning for sinners, in the resurrection rising for us, and at the right hand of God preparing a place for those who trust Him.

So we pray, Father, in the name of Jesus Christ alone, through whom alone salvation is found, hear this parent's cry. Let Thy ears be attentive to the voice of supplication. Grant to this son comfort in his heart, calmness in his mind, and a true sense of Thy presence. Grant that truth may be spoken and heard, and that whatever the outcome, he may be kept in Thy love and brought to repentance, pardon and peace. Show him that sin can still be put away, that whosoever believes in the Lord Jesus Christ shall be saved, and that to trust himself into the hands that were nailed to the cross is the pith of all hope. Give to his parent also rest, that taking the yoke of Christ you may find rest unto your soul, for His yoke is easy and His burden is light.

We will continue to ask the Lord to keep you both in His love, to give holy blessedness to your thoughts and deeds in this dark world of sin, and to make this trial, however it ends, a means of drawing your son to trust the Saviour fully, to find mercy and grace and peace beyond what he has yet dreamed.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We have heard your burden for your son as he faces his jury trial on the ###, and we are joining you in prayer for him and for you.

We pray to the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, that He would draw near to your son in this time of fear and uncertainty and grant him true peace, and that He would comfort your heart as well as you wait. We pray that the truth would be made clear before the court, that the judge and jury would act with wisdom and justice, and that whatever the outcome, your son would be kept in the hand of God and brought to fully trust in Jesus Christ, through whom alone we have salvation and hope.

Scripture shows us that God is present even in prison. He was with Joseph when he was unjustly imprisoned, He opened the prison doors for Peter when the church prayed without ceasing for him, and He was with Paul and Silas as they sang at midnight in their chains. Even when trials are permitted, God can use them to show His providence and to make us approved, and to turn hearts toward Himself. We pray that your son would know that nearness now, that he would seek the Lord with a sincere heart, confess his need for Christ, and find strength not only for this trial but for the life that follows.

We will continue to pray that God would grant comfort, guard your son, guide the proceedings toward what is just and right, and work all things according to His good will. May the Lord give you both peace that rests in Him, and may you know that He hears the prayers of His people.
