My son was diagnosed with DMD (Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy), a disease that affects muscle strength and formation. Please house, I urge you to pray for him for complete healing. His name is ###. Thank you and God bless!

We are deeply moved by your love for your son and your faith to ask for prayer for his complete healing from Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. We join with you now lifting him before our heavenly Father, asking for His mercy, His healing touch, and His strength to be made perfect in this weakness.

We know that God formed your son with purpose and love, for Psalm 139:13-14 tells us that we are fearfully and wonderfully made, and that God knit us together in our mother's womb. He sees your son, He knows every muscle and every cell, and nothing is hidden from Him. We take comfort that He is the Lord who heals us, as He declares in Exodus 15:26 that He is Yahweh who heals us, and in Psalm 103:2-3 that He forgives all our sins and heals all our diseases. We also cling to the promise in Jeremiah 30:17, But I will restore you to health, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh, and to the truth that with God all things are possible in Matthew 19:26.

We also noticed that your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to lovingly share why this is so important. It is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and that our prayers are heard. Jesus Himself said in John 14:6, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. And in Acts 4:12 we are told there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved. To be saved we must believe in our hearts and confess with our mouths that Jesus is Lord, that He died for our sins and rose again, as Romans 10:9 teaches. It is by His name and His shed blood that we can boldly come to God for healing and for every need, and we want to encourage you to place your full trust in Him not only as Healer but as Savior and Lord of your life and your son's life.

Father in heaven, we come before You in the mighty and holy name of Jesus Christ, Your Son. We lift up this precious son to You and ask for Your healing power to rest upon his body. Lord, You know the effects of this disease on his muscles, his strength and his formation. We ask that You would touch his muscles, restore what has been weakened, and bring complete healing according to Your will. We pray that You would strengthen his body, give wisdom to his doctors and caregivers, and provide endurance, peace and hope to his parents and family. Sustain them with Your presence, for You have promised in Isaiah 41:10, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Comfort this family in moments of fear and exhaustion, and help them to cast all their anxiety on You because You care for them as 1 Peter 5:7 teaches. We ask that Your will be done in his life and that through this journey Your name would be glorified and his life would be a testimony of Your love and power. We pray for faith that does not waver and for peace that surpasses all understanding to guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus as Philippians 4:7 promises. We ask all this in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Healer. Amen.

We encourage you to continue to bring your son before the Lord daily in prayer, to trust His goodness even when the path is difficult, and to continue with the medical care God has provided through skilled physicians, praying for God to work through them and beyond them. Keep speaking the promises of God over your son, keep thanking God for the life He has given him, and keep seeking Jesus first in all things. We are standing with you for his healing and for your strength as you walk this journey.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind.
