Scripture is clear that marriage is a sacred covenant between a man and a woman, designed by God for lifelong commitment. The term "partner" can often imply a relationship that does not align with God’s design for marriage or courtship. If you are referring to a boyfriend or girlfriend, we encourage you to view this relationship through the lens of biblical courtship, with the goal of marriage to a fellow believer in Christ. If you are already married, we rejoice in that covenant and pray for God’s blessing over your union.
Now, let us turn to the financial struggle you’ve shared. The Bible tells us in Philippians 4:19, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Financial stability is a concern for many, but we serve a God who owns the cattle on a thousand hills (Psalm 50:10) and promises to provide for His children. We also recognize that God’s provision often comes through diligent work and wise stewardship. Proverbs 14:23 says, "In all labor there is profit, but mere talk leads only to poverty." We pray that your loved one would not only find success in this interview but also grow in wisdom, discipline, and faithfulness in his work.

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We lift up this dear one who is seeking financial stability and provision. Lord, You know his needs even before he asks, and we trust in Your promise to supply every need according to Your riches in glory. We ask that You would open the right doors for him, grant him favor in his interview, and bless the work of his hands. Give him wisdom to manage whatever resources You provide, and help him to walk in integrity and diligence in all that he does.
Father, we also pray for his heart. If he does not yet know You as his personal Savior, we ask that You would draw him to Yourself. Soften his heart to receive the truth of the gospel, that he might be saved and find his true identity and purpose in Christ. If he is already a believer, strengthen his faith and help him to trust in You, not in his own efforts or the uncertainties of this world.
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of fear, anxiety, or discouragement that may be weighing on him. Remind him that You have not given him a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and a sound mind (2 Timothy 1:7). Fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, and let him rest in the knowledge that You are his Provider and Sustainer.
We also pray for this relationship. If it is Your will for them to be united in marriage, we ask that You would guide them both in holiness, purity, and mutual respect. Help them to honor You in their relationship, keeping their eyes fixed on Christ and His purposes for their lives.
