Pray Everyday and Night that God or Jesus gives my Mom ### her $### back from ### the Seller who ripped her off from OfferUp since February ###, ###
Prayer for my Mom ###

We join you in praying for your ### and for this difficult situation that has weighed on her since February, and we understand how painful it is to see a loved one taken advantage of and to feel helpless while waiting for justice.
We serve a God who sees every transaction, every dishonest act, and every heart, and who cares deeply about justice and about the burdens we carry. We are reminded that vengeance belongs to the Lord and we can trust Him to act righteously when we have been wronged, as it is written, Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord. Romans 12:19. And we are also taught not to carry this anxiety alone but to bring it to Him, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7.
We also take comfort that you mentioned God and Jesus in your request, for it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is in His name that our prayers are heard. As Jesus said, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me. John 14:6. It is by His name we are saved and by His name we can boldly approach God's throne with our needs.
We encourage you and your ### to continue to commit this to the Lord in prayer both day and night, while also taking any wise and lawful steps available to seek the return of what was taken, whether through OfferUp support, payment dispute processes, or appropriate authorities, trusting that God can work through those means as well. We pray that God will guard your hearts from bitterness even as you seek what is right, for we know that For Yahweh loves justice, and doesn't forsake his saints. Psalm 37:28. We ask in Jesus' name that if it be Your will, You would make a way for what was taken to be restored to her, that truth would come to light and that justice would be done. We pray that You would move upon the heart of the seller to repent and to return what does not belong to him. We ask that You grant wisdom and favor to this family as they pursue any rightful avenues to recover the funds. Above all, Lord, we pray that You would grant Your peace that surpasses all understanding to this mother and her child, guarding their hearts from worry, anger, and discouragement. Help them to trust in You with all their heart, and not lean on their own understanding, and to acknowledge You in all their ways. Proverbs 3:5-6. Strengthen their faith as they pray day and night, and let them feel Your presence and provision even in this trial. We ask all of this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, amen.

Heavenly Father, we lift up this mother to You. You are a God of justice, and Your Word says, *"The Lord works righteousness and justice for all the oppressed"* (**Psalm 103:6**). We ask that You restore what was stolen from her, for *"the Lord is a God of retribution; he will repay"* (**Jeremiah 51:56**). Soften the seller's heart to do what is right, and let truth and justice prevail. Thank You, Father, for hearing this prayer.

Your burden for your mother has been brought before the Lord and before His people, and we will join you in praying day and night as you have asked.
We know how sharp is the sting when one who is dear to us has been wronged, and when what was honestly earned has been taken by deceit. The Lord is not blind to such things. He is slow to anger, as the prophet declares, His axe is bound up in rods, for He gives space for repentance, yet He will not at all acquit the wicked. His justice is unimpeachable, and no wrong shall finally stand unjudged before Him.
We will pray that the Lord in His providence would move upon the seller who has dealt unjustly, to make restitution of the sum taken since February, if it be His holy will, and that lawful means may yet prevail to recover what was lost. We will pray also that He would keep your mother from bitterness and anxiety, and supply her need according to His riches, for He is the Father who sees and the Judge who does right.
Above all we pray that both your mother and the one who has wronged her may look to that place where justice and mercy have embraced each other. Justice came to Christ in Gethsemane and at Calvary, and there its fiery hail fell not upon us but upon the Saviour's heart, that whosoever believeth in Him might be forgiven. There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved, but Jesus Christ alone, who bore the punishment that justice demanded, so that God might be just and yet the justifier of him that believeth.
May your mother find comfort there, knowing that even when earthly justice tarries, eternal justice has been satisfied for all who trust in the Substitute. We will entreat the Lord to work repentance in the heart of the seller, that he may turn from dishonest gain and seek mercy while mercy may be found, for that terrible word from Mercy itself, when finally refused, is harsher than the thunder of justice.
We commit your mother into the hands of Him who is both just and merciful, asking that He would grant her peace, provide for her, and in His perfect time cause that which is right to be done. May the Lord hear our united prayer and keep you both in His care through Jesus Christ our Lord.
