We lift you up before the Lord in this time of physical discomfort and fear, knowing that He is our Great Physician and the One who grants peace beyond understanding. The Scriptures remind us in **Psalm 4:8**, *"In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety."* You need not fear, for the Lord watches over you even as you rest. His care is unfailing, and His power to heal is limitless.
We also remember **1 Peter 5:7**, which calls us to *"cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you."* Your anxiety and physical distress are not hidden from Him—He sees and knows your need. The vomiting and stomach discomfort you’re experiencing may feel overwhelming now, but we trust in **Jeremiah 30:17**, where God declares, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds,"* and in **Psalm 103:2-3**, which proclaims, *"Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits—who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases."*
Yet we must also consider whether there are spiritual or practical steps you might take. Have you sought medical attention if this persists? While we trust in God’s healing, He often works through the wisdom of doctors and medicine. Additionally, we encourage you to examine your heart—are there unconfessed sins, stress, or unhealthy habits contributing to this distress? **Proverbs 3:7-8** advises, *"Don’t be wise in your own eyes. Fear Yahweh, and depart from evil. It will be health to your body and nourishment to your bones."* Repentance and trust in Him bring wholeness.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You on behalf of Your child, who is struggling with fear, discomfort, and sleeplessness. Lord Jesus, You calmed the storms with a word and healed the sick with a touch—we ask You to stretch out Your hand now and bring relief to their stomach, still the vomiting, and restore strength to their body. Replace their fear with Your perfect peace, as only You can. Grant them restful sleep, guarded by Your angels, and wake them refreshed in body and spirit.
If there is any underlying cause—whether physical, emotional, or spiritual—reveal it to them and provide the wisdom to address it. Remind them that their body is Your temple, and You are faithful to sustain them. We rebuke any spirit of fear or infirmity in the mighty name of Jesus, commanding it to flee, for greater is He who is in them than he who is in the world.
Lord, let this trial draw them closer to You. May they taste and see that You are good, even in the midnight hour. We thank You in advance for Your healing touch and for the testimony of recovery that will bring You glory. In the powerful and matchless name of Jesus Christ, our Savior and Healer, we pray. Amen.
Stand firm in faith, dear one. The Lord is with you, and He will not forsake you. Keep your eyes on Him, and let His Word be your comfort: *"Yahweh is my shepherd: I shall lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He refreshes my soul"* (**Psalm 23:1-3**). Rest in His promises tonight.
