Answered prayer and continued prayer for my health

Anonymous

Beloved of All
I posted last time asking for prayers for my ct scan. The results are out and thank God that there are no enlarged lymph nodes, and my chest and abdomen results are normal or unremarkable. I have a small cyst on my abdomen/liver area and I pray that this will not grow and will be gone in Jesus’ name. Pls pray for what I am feeling now. I still get headaches and feel slightly dizzy esp when I am exposed to many people for too long. There are still body pains and discomfort which I am not sure if it is because of my anxiety. Please pray that I get the right advice from the right people and these discomfort will be gone from my body. I claim healing and full restoration of health for me and my mother. Pls pray for blessings for everyone here and my close friends and church family who have been praying for me. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

We rejoice with you and thank God together for this answered prayer and for His mercy in your CT scan results, that there are no enlarged lymph nodes and that your chest and abdomen are normal and unremarkable. We give thanks to the Lord for His goodness, for He is faithful and His steadfast love endures forever. We join you in praising Him who heals all your diseases, Psalm 103:2-3, and we stand with you in faith for the complete disappearance of that small cyst in Jesus' name.

We lift up before the Father the symptoms that remain, the headaches and slight dizziness especially when you are around many people for a long time, and the body pains and discomfort that trouble you. We pray for wisdom to discern what is physical and what is heightened by anxiety, and we ask the Lord to quiet your heart and bring peace to your body and mind. The Scripture reminds us, In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. Philippians 4:6-7. We are also reminded to cast all our anxiety on him, because he cares for us. 1 Peter 5:7. The Lord sees your discomfort and He cares deeply for you and for your mother.

We pray together now.

Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the name of Jesus Christ, Your Son, and we thank You for Your healing hand already at work. We thank You for the good report and we ask for complete healing and full restoration of health for our dear one and for her mother. Lord, we ask that You would cause that small cyst on the liver area to not grow, to shrink and be gone according to Your will, for You have said, But I will restore health to you and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh. Jeremiah 30:17. We ask for Your touch upon the headaches, the dizziness, and every body pain and discomfort. Bring relief, strength, and wholeness. Calm any anxiety and fill this heart with Your perfect peace, for You have said, Don't you be afraid, for I am with you. Don't be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10. Grant wisdom and discernment to choose the right advice from the right people, guide the doctors and all who give counsel, and lead to the care that is truly needed. We pray that every discomfort will leave the body and that health will be fully restored for Your glory. We also thank You for the church family and close friends who have been praying faithfully, and we ask Your abundant blessing upon them and upon everyone here who seeks You, that You would encourage them and supply all their needs according to Your riches in Christ Jesus. We claim Your healing and Your peace, trusting not in our own understanding but in Your perfect will and timing, in the mighty and healing name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

We encourage you to continue to bring every worry and every physical concern to the Lord daily with thanksgiving, and to seek godly and wise counsel both spiritually and medically. God often works through the wisdom of trusted doctors and through the prayers of His people, and we pray He directs you to those who will give sound and compassionate advice. Rest when you can, guard your heart from fear, and remember that even when symptoms linger, the Lord is near and He is your strength and your healer. We will continue to stand with you in prayer for total healing for you and your mother, for peace over anxiety, and for blessings to overflow upon your friends and church family who have lifted you up so faithfully.

We were so encouraged to hear your scan came back with no enlarged lymph nodes and a normal chest and abdomen. We thank God with you for that good news, and we join you in praying for that small cyst in the liver area that it would stay small and resolve, and for wisdom for your doctors as they advise you on any follow up needed.

We also hear how wearing it is to still have headaches, dizziness especially when you have been around many people for a while, and body pains and discomfort. It makes sense you are wondering about anxiety, since stress and worry can show up in the body as well as the mind, and crowded places can feel overwhelming when you are already not feeling well.

A practical step that may help as you seek the right advice is to jot down when the headaches, dizziness and pains occur, what you were doing, and how long they last, and bring that note to your doctor at your next visit. You can ask how they want to monitor the cyst and what they recommend for the ongoing symptoms, and they can point you to the right person for further care. Please keep your care team involved alongside prayer.

We are thankful for your close friends and church family who have been praying faithfully, and for your heart to ask blessing for them too.

Father, we thank You for the reassuring results You have already given. We ask for Your mercy and comfort over this body, ease from headaches, dizziness and pain, and clear guidance through trusted clinicians. Give peace in anxious moments and restore strength day by day for her and her mother. Bless those who have stood with her in prayer. In Jesus' name, Amen.

We lift up our hearts with you in thanksgiving to our gracious God, who has heard prayer and shown mercy. To learn that there are no enlarged lymph nodes and that the chest and abdomen are normal and unremarkable is cause for great gratitude, and we join you in giving Him all the praise. He is the heavenly Physician, and it is He who watches over His people with tender care.

We have brought before the Lord the small cyst that remains, and your present sufferings, the headaches and dizziness when among many people, and the body pains and discomfort which trouble you. We pray that the Lord, who has permitted you to see His goodness in these good reports, will continue His healing work in you. We ask that in His wisdom this cyst may not grow but be removed according to His will, and that these other infirmities may be taken away. Tell the case to Jesus just as you would mention a physical case to a doctor, for He is ready to hear it all and to consider it. There is an abundance of healing power in Christ and His salvation, and even the leaves of the tree of life are for the healing of the nations, so that the least thing about Christ has healing virtue in it. The Sun of Righteousness has risen with healing in His wings, and pardon and healing are found together in Him.

We pray also concerning the anxiety of which you speak, for we know how it wearies the frame. Anxiety has never comforted any soul nor brought any grist to the mill, and the very anxiety which arises through being in a difficulty unfits us to meet that difficulty. Cast your care upon Him who cares for you, for He healeth the broken in heart and bindeth up their wounds. Seek your spiritual food as diligently as that for the body, for your immortal soul is of greater value still, and faith comes by hearing the Word of God where Christ is taught. There the healing power is most manifestly present.

We ask the Lord to give you the right advice from the right people, to guide the hands and minds of those who counsel you, and to grant you quietness of spirit and soundness of body. We claim with you full restoration according to His perfect will, and we remember your mother before the throne, that she also may know His healing and keeping. And we pray the richest blessings upon all who have prayed for you, your close friends and your church family, that the Lord will return their kindness with abundant grace.

May the Lord keep you in perfect peace as your mind is stayed upon Him, and make you to rejoice in His pardoning and healing hand through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We give thanks with you for God's mercy in these results and join you in praising Him that there are no enlarged lymph nodes and that your chest and abdomen are normal and unremarkable. It is right to recognize this as His kindness and to continue to bring every remaining concern before Him in prayer.

We pray now for the small cyst that was found, that the Lord in His mercy would keep it from growing and cause it to resolve, and we pray for the headaches, the dizziness you feel especially when you are among many people for a long time, and the body pains and discomfort that remain. You wonder if anxiety may be contributing to these feelings, and that is often the case, for anxiety and physical strain can weigh heavily on the body. We ask God to free you from that burden of anxiety and to give you deep peace as you cast your cares on Him, for He cares for you, and to grant you clear guidance to the right people who can give you wise and sound advice for your health. As you seek that counsel, we pray you will have grace to follow the good and careful instruction of capable physicians, for God often works through their skill as part of His healing treatment, patiently restoring health step by step.

We also lift up your mother with you, asking for her full health and restoration, and we thank God for the love shown to you by your close friends and your church family who have prayed for you. We pray that the Lord will bless them and all who have interceded for you, and return to them the encouragement they have given.

May the Lord, who is the true physician of soul and body, touch you with His healing hand, quiet your heart, steady your body, remove what causes pain and dizziness, and establish you in strength and peace according to His good will. We will continue to pray for your complete healing and restoration. In Jesus name, Amen.

We give thanks with you for this good report and for God's mercy in these results. To hear that there are no enlarged lymph nodes and that your chest and abdomen are normal is truly a reason to rejoice, and we join you in praising the Lord for it. We also bring before Him the small cyst that was found, and the headaches, dizziness, body pains and discomfort that still trouble you, especially when you are around many people for a long time.

Scripture gives us a large view of healing. When Matthew writes about the ministry of Jesus he quotes Isaiah and says that Jesus took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses. The prophet's words surely he has borne our griefs can be translated infirmities, and Matthew applies it directly to physical healing, not only to forgiveness of sins. At the communion table we remember that His body was broken for us, and that His suffering covers the whole person. The Gospels show Jesus going through the cities and villages preaching the good news of the kingdom and healing every kind of sickness and disease among the people. He healed the leper, the centurion's servant, Peter's mother in law, and in the evening great multitudes who were sick and oppressed. He has power over the physical body and over the spiritual realm, and that power is still His today. We believe God is able to heal now, and that healing is for today.

At the same time the Bible keeps us from presuming that God must heal in every case exactly as we ask or expect. The apostle Paul prayed three times for his thorn in the flesh and the Lord did not remove it, but taught him grace in it. There is much about healing we do not understand, why some are healed instantly, why some are healed gradually, and why some must continue to walk through weakness while trusting God's wisdom. In the ministry of Jesus most healings were immediate, yet there is at least one that was gradual, and often He healed in different ways, sometimes with a touch, sometimes only with a word, sometimes from a distance. He is not confined to one pattern.

We should also remember that all healing is from God. The natural processes He has built into our bodies are divine processes, for He created nature itself. Whether healing comes in a moment or through time, through prayer alone or through the wise help of doctors and counselors, it is still His work. That is why your prayer for the right advice from the right people is a good and biblical prayer. Ask the Lord to lead you to wise, trustworthy medical counsel and to give you discernment to follow it, and trust that He can work through those means as well as beyond them.

You mention headaches, dizziness around many people, body pains, and wonder if anxiety plays a part. That is very common, for we live under many pressures, relational, physical and spiritual, and when we feel trapped or overwhelmed our bodies often feel it too. The psalmist asked his own soul, why are you cast down and disquieted within me, and then answered himself, hope in God. When anxiety fills our thoughts it is often because God has quietly been moved out of the equation and we are carrying the burden alone. To put Him back in, to hope in Him again, does not make the problem disappear automatically, but it changes the equation. Suddenly it is not impossible, because He is present, He sees, and He cares. Bring those anxious thoughts to Him honestly, and ask Him to calm both heart and body.

Healing also involves faith, not merely believing that God can heal in general, but actively entrusting yourself to Him. In the Gospels many who were healed reached out in personal trust, like the woman who had suffered for twelve years and touched the hem of His garment. That touch was a point where she released her faith and received from Him. Your faith may be expressed simply by calling on Jesus, opening His Word, taking communion with thanksgiving, or asking others to pray for you. He does not require a frenzy or a performance, only a sincere looking to Him.

So we pray for you now. Father, we thank You for Your mercy shown in these test results and for the peace it has brought. We ask in the name of Jesus that You would touch this small cyst and cause it not to grow, and if it be Your will, to remove it completely. Lay Your hand upon these headaches, this dizziness and these body pains, and bring relief and strength. Calm anxious thoughts and give rest to mind and body. Lead to the right people who can give sound, careful advice, and give wisdom to follow what is good. We ask for Your healing and restoration for both this dear one and for her mother according to Your perfect will, whether it be instant or gradual, and help her to trust Your goodness either way. Bless and encourage every friend and every member of the church family who has prayed, and pour Your grace upon all who are interceding here. May hope in You rise above fear, and may Your peace guard heart and mind through Christ Jesus. Amen.
