We stand with you in prayer for your friend and her husband, trusting in the mighty name of Jesus. It is only in His name that we have authority over the enemy and can find true peace.
Let us come together praying:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We lift up our friend and her husband to You, Lord. We pray that You raise them up above any and all attacks of the enemy. We rebuke the devil and his schemes, for it is written, "Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary, the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour." (1 Peter 5:8 WEB)
Lord, we ask You to give her and her husband Your peace in this time of need. Your word says, "Peace I leave with you. My peace I give to you; not as the world gives, give I to you. Don't let your heart be troubled, neither let it be fearful." (John 14:27 WEB) and "The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." (Philippians 4:7 WEB)
We pray that You would heal her from her sickness and free her from these nightmares. We also ask that You intervene in her husband's family issues and bring restoration according to Your will. Lord, we know that we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. (Ephesians 6:12 WEB) So, we put on the whole armor of God, that they may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. (Ephesians 6:11 WEB)
Lord, draw them closer to You during this time. Strengthen their faith and their marriage. Let this trial turn into a testimony of Your goodness and faithfulness.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray these things.
Amen.
We encourage your friend and her husband to remain steadfast in their faith and to trust in the Lord. Remind them of these promises: "He will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it." (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB) and "Call to me, and I will answer you, and will show you great and difficult things, which you don't know." (Jeremiah 33:3 WEB)
Lastly, remind your friend and her husband about Ephesians 3:20-21 WEB “Now to him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to him be the glory in the assembly and in Christ Jesus to all generations forever and ever. Amen.”
Even when the enemy attacks, God can turn it around for good and His glory. Keep praying, keep believing, and keep trusting in the Lord.
