Prayer for my ex boyfriend ###

Anonymous

Beloved of All
Dear God / Jesus, I pray the ### will see the wrong he is doing in living with women he does not love nor plans to marry. I pray that he will be healed of whatever hurt I caused and that he see me as a good person. I pray that he will be able to stand on his own and not need a woman to cater to him. I pray that you will help him lord to become a better man that does not use women and that you send him someone he will truly love & loves him back. I pray in Jesus name. Amen.

We hear your heart in this prayer, and we join with you in lifting up your ex-boyfriend before the Lord. First, we must acknowledge that your prayer is offered in the name of Jesus, which is the only way we can approach God with confidence (John 14:13-14). It is through Christ alone that we have access to the Father, and we are grateful that you have called upon His name.

Your concern for this man’s well-being and spiritual growth is evident, and we share your desire to see him walk in godliness. Scripture makes it clear that sexual immorality, including living with someone outside of marriage, is sin (1 Corinthians 6:18-20, Hebrews 13:4). The Lord calls us to holiness, and we must boldly declare that His will is for men and women to honor Him with their bodies and relationships. We rebuke the pattern of using others for selfish gain, for this is not the way of Christ. The Bible warns against those who exploit others, especially in matters of the heart (Proverbs 6:27-29). We pray that the Lord would convict him of any ungodly behavior and lead him to repentance.

We also lift up the hurt that may have been caused in your past relationship. While it is natural to desire reconciliation or for him to see you in a positive light, we must remember that our worth is found in Christ alone (Ephesians 1:4-6). You are a child of God, dearly loved, and your identity is not defined by another person’s opinion of you. We pray that you would find healing and peace in Him, trusting that His plans for you are good (Jeremiah 29:11).

For this man, we pray that the Lord would break any unhealthy dependencies or patterns in his life. Scripture tells us that a man who finds a wife finds a good thing (Proverbs 18:22), but marriage is a sacred covenant, not a casual arrangement. We pray that he would seek the Lord first (Matthew 6:33) and that God would prepare him to be a godly husband if that is His will. We ask that the Lord would surround him with wise, godly men who can speak truth into his life and hold him accountable (Proverbs 27:17).

Father God, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, asking that You would intervene in this man’s life. Break the chains of sin and selfishness that have kept him bound. Heal any wounds from past relationships and lead him to repentance. Give him a heart that seeks after You above all else. If it is Your will, prepare him for a godly marriage, one that honors You and reflects Christ’s love for the Church. We pray for his growth in wisdom, maturity, and holiness. May he become a man who loves You with all his heart, soul, and strength, and who treats others with the dignity and respect they deserve.

We also ask that You would guard this sister’s heart. Help her to release any bitterness, unforgiveness, or lingering attachment to this man. Fill her with Your peace and assurance that You are her provider and protector. May she trust in Your timing and Your plans for her life, knowing that You work all things together for good for those who love You (Romans 8:28).

Lord, we declare that no weapon formed against Your children shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). We speak life, healing, and transformation over this man’s life. May he come to know You more deeply and walk in the freedom that only Christ can give. We trust in Your perfect will and timing, and we give You all the glory. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.

Oh, sister, we’re praying with you over this man’s heart right now, knowing that God sees the pain behind your words and the longing for his transformation. There’s something so tender about how you’re carrying this burden, and we want to stand with you in that.

First, we’re praying that God would soften his heart to the truth of His love, not just as a concept, but as a living reality that’s been poured out for him. Lord, we ask that You would reveal Yourself to him in ways that cut through the noise of the world, the comfort of sin, and the lies that say he doesn’t need You. Let him feel the weight of what he’s been doing, but also the freedom that comes from surrendering it all to You. We declare that You are breaking every stronghold of selfishness and dependency in his life, replacing them with a hunger for Your Word and Your presence.

And to you, dear one, we’re praying that you’d see your worth in Christ alone, not in his eyes or his actions. The man God has for you is coming, but right now, your identity is found in His love for you. We’re asking that You would fill you with peace about this season, helping you release any grip you still have on what “could have been.” Let Your truth remind her that she is good, loved, and enough, just as she is in Him.

We’re also lifting up the women he’s living with. Lord, we pray for their hearts too, may they experience Your healing and Your protection. And for this man, we’re asking that You would show him a love that’s deeper than comfort, a love that looks like sacrifice, like the kind of devotion that reflects Your heart for the Church. If it’s Your will, prepare him for a marriage that honors You, where he learns to serve, to lead with humility, and to love with the same selflessness You’ve shown him.

Most of all, we’re praying that both of you would trust You with the timeline. You’re the God who turns ashes into beauty, who takes broken things and makes them whole. We declare that You’re working in this man’s life in ways we can’t see yet, and we’re asking that You would give her patience, joy, and a heart full of hope in Your promises.

In Jesus’ name, we’re declaring that this man will know Your love in a new way, and that her heart will be filled with peace as she rests in Your faithfulness. Amen.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer these past few days. It has been our heart’s joy to lift your ex-boyfriend before the Lord, asking Him to open his eyes to the choices he is making and to bring healing to any hurt that lingers between you. We have prayed that God would reveal your goodness to him and that he would grow into the strong, godly man the Lord created him to be—a man who stands on his own, honors women, and seeks a relationship built on true love and commitment.

If the Lord has already begun to answer these prayers, we would be so encouraged to hear a praise report from you. Your testimony could be a light to others walking a similar path. If, however, you feel the situation remains unchanged, please share it again as a new request. We are committed to continuing in prayer with you, trusting that God’s timing and ways are perfect.

May the Father draw near to you as you seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ. We pray that He strengthens your heart, fills you with peace, and reminds you of His unfailing love. In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
