Prayer for my autistic daughter

We are lifting you and your precious daughter up before the Lord together and we hear the exhaustion and love in your request. We know how heavy a long night of meltdowns can be and how deeply you want rest and peace for her.
We want you to know that your daughter is fearfully and wonderfully made and deeply loved by God just as she is. Children are a heritage of Yahweh, the fruit of the womb is his reward Psalm 127:3. He sees her, He knows her needs, and He sees you in your weariness as you care for her with such faithful love.
We also notice your request asks for prayer but does not mention the name of Jesus. We gently share this because it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. When we pray in the name of Jesus we come boldly to God because of what He has done for us on the cross, and we can trust Him with our children and our own souls. If you have not yet put your trust in Jesus, we encourage you to believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead and confess Him as Lord Romans 10:9.
We join together now in prayer for you both.
Father in heaven, in the name of Jesus Christ we bring this precious daughter before You and we bring her parent who is weary and exhausted. Lord You know her by name, You formed her and You love her perfectly. We ask for Your calm and Your peace to rest upon her, to quiet her body and mind and to give her sweet and restorative sleep. We pray I will both lay myself down and sleep in peace, for you, Yahweh alone, make me live in safety Psalm 4:8 would be her experience tonight and in the nights to come. We ask for Your comfort to surround her when she is overwhelmed and for Your hand to soothe what we cannot fully understand. We pray for this parent, Lord, that You would give fresh strength, for You give power to the weak and to him who has no might you increase strength Isaiah 40:29. We ask that You would let them feel Your presence as they cast all their worries on You, because You care for them 1 Peter 5:7. We pray You would provide rest for their body and renewal for their spirit as Jesus promised Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest Matthew 11:28. Surround this family with support and help and let them feel they are not alone. We ask all of this according to Your will in the precious name of Jesus, amen.

Your weariness and your daughter's long night of distress have been brought before the Lord, and He who neither slumbers nor sleeps has heard your cry. He sees you in this hour of exhaustion, and He sees your precious child in her trouble, and His compassion does not fail.
There is a rest that belongs to the people of God, and it is found not in our own strength but in Him. The Lord Jesus says, Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. It is a present rest, given there and then to the weary heart that leans upon Him, a perfect rest in His blood and righteousness. And the Psalmist says, Rest in the Lord. Oh, what a sweet precept this is, easier to read than to practice, yet blessedly easy when grace is given to rest in boundless mercy and in the power of God to help you. So He giveth His beloved sleep, not because we have earned it, but because He watches over His own with tender care.
We have prayed for you and for your daughter, that the Lord in His great mercy would calm her spirit, quiet her distress, and grant her gentle and refreshing sleep. We have asked that He would lay His hand of peace upon her, and that He would sustain you as her mother, renewing your strength as you wait upon Him, and giving you also rest for body and soul. May He keep you both in His keeping through this night and in the days to come, and may you find that to do the will of Jesus, even in this hard and holy work of caring, is itself rest.
Cast this burden upon the Lord, for He cares for you and for your little one. Trust and you shall rest, and may the peace of God which passes all understanding keep your heart and mind through Christ Jesus.
