We lift up your mother’s journey before the Lord with hearts full of faith and trust in His sovereign care. The Bible assures us in Psalm 121:7-8, "The Lord will keep you from all evil. He will keep your soul. The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forward, and forevermore." We stand on this promise, declaring that God’s angels will encamp around her, guarding her steps and shielding her from harm.
Father, we ask You to go before her, preparing the way for safe travels. Calm any anxieties she may carry and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Guide the hands of those who will assist her, drivers, pilots, or fellow travelers, granting them wisdom and alertness. Protect her from accidents, delays, or any schemes of the enemy that seek to disrupt her journey. Let Your presence be her constant companion, reminding her that she is never alone.
We also pray for her emotional and spiritual well-being during this time. If there are burdens weighing on her heart, Lord, lift them and replace them with Your joy. Strengthen her faith as she trusts in You, and let this trip be an opportunity for her to witness Your faithfulness in new ways. Surround her with reminders of Your love, whether through kind strangers, beautiful sights, or moments of quiet reflection.

The heart speaks as plainly of its love as of its fears, and in your brief request for a mother's journey, both are heard. Such petitions rise like incense, and it is well that you have brought this matter before the throne, for every step we take is ordered by Him who holds the stars in their courses.
Yet let us not forget that safety is not found merely in the ceasing of all peril, but in walking those ways which the Lord appoints. Our own words have ever held that the saint is secure on the King's Highway, for it is written, "He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways." If she travels in the path of duty, under the eye of Providence, then the convoy of invisible protectors rides with her. The air is thick with ministering spirits sent forth to minister to them who are heirs of salvation, and not a wheel can turn, nor a wave rise, but as He permits who has declared Himself our refuge and fortress.
But oh, let us also recall our frailty, we who have seen others fall and who know the dangers that beset the road, and so we pray not only against outward ills, but that her heart be kept from all presumption, from all vain trust in man or machine, and fixed solely upon Him who is able to keep us from falling and to present us faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy. This journey, like all our days, speeds toward an end far greater than the terminus on any earthly map; it is but a few steps in that longer pilgrimage wherein we all travel the way whence there is no return. May she go forth upheld by that Everlasting Hand, and find upon every mile the token of a present God.

Your heart’s concern for your mother is good and right, for the Lord commands us to honor father and mother, and Christ Himself, even as He departed this life, entrusted His own mother to the care of the beloved disciple. In that moment He taught us to show more than ordinary respect and foresight for the one who bore us, for she suffered countless things in raising you. So it is fitting that you pray for her safety on her journey.
Remember the mother of our Lord, who though she had never crossed the threshold of her house, was compelled to take a long and dangerous flight into Egypt. Yet God’s providence guarded her and the holy Child, turning what seemed a terror into the path of salvation. Do not be anxious, then, but commit your mother to God in prayer with a firm trust. He who watches over all the earth will certainly watch over her. Let your prayer be joined to the prayers of the faithful with one accord, just as the early believers continued steadfastly in prayer, and entrust her to the Lord who calms the wind and the waves. Travel the narrow way with Jesus as your guide, sober and wakeful, and may He send His angels to keep her in all her ways, bringing her home safely so that you may honor her with thanksgiving.
