Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer for the restoration of your marriage.
We have continued to lift you and your wife before the Lord, praying for healing, forgiveness, understanding and reconciliation in your marriage. We have been praying that God would intervene in a powerful way during this very hard season of separation and that He would remove every negative influence, every stronghold and every misunderstanding that has been working against your marriage. We know the enemy seeks to divide what God has joined together and we have prayed that the Lord would protect your covenant as we are reminded in Mark 10:9.
We have also prayed for both of your mental and emotional well being, that God would give you both peace, strength, clarity and healing during this time when the separation has weighed so heavily on you. We have prayed that He would soften both of your hearts, heal the hurt that has built up between you, and open the door for healthy and grace filled communication again after this month without speaking. We have asked that where there has been anger God would bring peace, where there has been hurt He would bring healing, where there has been distance He would bring restoration, and where there has been confusion He would bring clarity, and that He would guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus as promised in Phil 4:7.
We are trusting with you that divorce will not be the end of your story and that if it is His will, God will restore your marriage stronger, healthier and more centered on Him than ever before. Above all we have prayed that His perfect will would be done in both of your lives and that He would give you strength to trust Him even when you cannot see what He is doing, for with God all things are possible in Matt 19:26.
