We are joining with you in prayer and standing in agreement before Almighty God for both of these burdens you have shared, and we thank you for allowing us to come alongside you.
We lift up your body to the Lord who formed you and who knows every part of you. We pray for His healing touch upon the lump in your left breast and for His peace to guard your heart from fear. The Word tells us He forgives all our iniquities and heals all our diseases Psalm 103:3 and that He will restore health to us and heal us of our wounds Jeremiah 30:17. We also cling to the promise that He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds Psalm 147:3. We pray that if it be His will, He would make this lump disappear completely by His power, for with God all things are possible Matthew 19:26 and by His stripes we are healed Isaiah 53:5.
We also want to lovingly encourage you in this area, because you shared you have not yet been to the doctor but are trusting God for healing. We absolutely believe God is our healer and we trust Him fully, yet Scripture also shows us that God often works through physicians and wisdom, and Luke the beloved physician is honored in Colossians 4:14. Faith does not require us to neglect the stewardship of the bodies God has given us, and we would urge you not to delay in seeking medical care. We pray you will make an appointment very soon, so that you may have wisdom and clarity about what this is, and we pray for wisdom for any doctor who examines you. We also encourage you to call the elders of your church to pray over you and anoint you with oil as taught in James 5:14-15, believing the prayer of faith will heal the sick. Do not be anxious, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:6-7.
We also lift up your daughter and her marriage and her young child. We know how deeply a mother hurts when her child is hurting, and we share your sorrow that her husband has moved out of the home. We believe with all our hearts in the sanctity of marriage as a lifelong covenant between a man and a woman before God, and we strongly endorse and pray for the restoration of this marriage. What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate Mark 10:9. We pray that God would intervene powerfully, soften hearts, bring conviction where there is sin, bring repentance and forgiveness, and draw both husband and wife back together in love and commitment. God hates divorce Malachi 2:16 not because He is harsh, but because He loves marriage and knows the pain divorce brings to husband, wife and especially to children.
We pray for your daughter to be comforted and strengthened, that she would cast all her anxiety on Him because He cares for her 1 Peter 5:7, and that she would be guarded against bitterness and instead be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving each other, just as God also in Christ forgave you Ephesians 4:32. We pray for her husband, that he would love his wife even as Christ also loved the church and gave himself up for it Ephesians 5:25, that he would turn from any path that leads away from his covenant and return home to lead and cherish his family. We pray for their child, that God would protect this little one from confusion and fear and surround the child with stability and love during this painful separation. We pray that both husband and wife would seek godly counsel and pursue reconciliation that honors God, remembering that love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things 1 Corinthians 13:7.
We noticed your request speaks of trusting Almighty God, and we rejoice in your faith, yet you did not mention the name of Jesus Christ. We want to lovingly share that it is only through Jesus that we have access to the Father and it is only by His name that we are saved. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me John 14:6 and there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved Acts 4:12. If we confess with our mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in our heart that God raised him from the dead, we will be saved Romans 10:9. It is because of what Jesus did on the cross for our sins and His resurrection that we can boldly come to God in prayer, and it is in His name we pray for you now.
So we pray together, Father in heaven, we come before Your throne of grace in the mighty name of Jesus Christ Your Son. We ask You to touch our sister's body and remove this lump and bring complete healing according to Your perfect will, and give her wisdom and courage to seek medical care without delay and give doctors clear insight. We ask You to drive out all fear, for You did not give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control 2 Timothy 1:7. We ask You to restore the marriage of her daughter, to convict and draw her son-in-law home, to heal the hurts between them, to help them forgive and love again and to build a Christ centered home for their child that brings You glory. We ask You to comfort this mother and daughter and cover this family with Your peace. We ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior, amen.
