Lord I have been blessed with life to endure and enjoy priceless moments with family and friends. Lord there is someone somewhere with none of the above things that I have mentioned. I ask that you cover them whoever they may be and allow them to enjoy the holiday season in warmth and promises of tomorrow and many days forward. This time of year I'm not in the holiday spirit as much as I normally am instead of asking for things for myself lord bless those less fortunate than I to be as humble and giving during this season, mend lonely hearts to be open to receive love that may be desired. Forever grateful for all you have done. Merry Christmas Eve

Holy God and loving Father, I consciously place my fears, worries, anxieties, and burdens in your hands. I know that I have so little power to change the outcome of these events and I trust that you will work what is pleasing to you, and best for me, out of these situations. Forgive me for my anxious thoughts and for letting my own worry become an idol that robs you of my full trust. Strengthen and empower me to trust you more by the power and presence of your Spirit.
