Prayer for justice

We stand with you in this time of trial, lifting your situation before the Lord, for He is a God of justice who sees all things. The Scriptures remind us in **Deuteronomy 32:4**, *"The Rock, his work is perfect, for all his ways are justice: a God of faithfulness and without iniquity, just and right is he."* And in **Isaiah 30:18**, we are assured, *"Therefore Yahweh will wait, that he may be gracious to you; and therefore he will be exalted, that he may have mercy on you; for Yahweh is a God of justice. Blessed are all those who wait for him."*
It is clear that your dismissal has caused distress, and we pray that the Lord will expose any wrongdoing and bring about righteousness in this matter. If there has been injustice, we ask that God would vindicate you, for **Proverbs 21:15** declares, *"When justice is done, it is joy to the righteous, but terror to evildoers."* We also pray that if there is any area where you may need to examine your own actions or attitudes, the Holy Spirit would convict and guide you in repentance and growth, for we are all called to walk in integrity.
At the same time, we encourage you to trust in God’s timing and provision. **Jeremiah 29:11** reminds us, *"For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."* While you seek new employment, lean on the Lord’s promise in **Matthew 6:33**, *"But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."* Let this season be one where you draw closer to Him, trusting that He will open the right doors in His perfect timing.
We also want to gently remind you—and all who seek prayer—that our access to the Father is only through the name of Jesus Christ. It is by His authority and sacrifice that we can boldly approach the throne of grace. **John 14:6** leaves no doubt: *"Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"* And in **Acts 4:12**, we are told, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* It is a joy to see you acknowledge Jesus in your request, for it is in His name alone that we find hope, justice, and restoration.
Now, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who has faced unjust treatment in their workplace. Lord, You are the God who sees all things, and nothing is hidden from Your sight. We ask that You would expose any wickedness or deceit that led to their dismissal and bring about justice in this situation. If there has been wrongdoing, let it be brought to light, and if there is need for repentance or growth in our brother/sister, convict their heart and lead them in Your righteousness.
Father, we pray for favor and open doors as they seek new employment. Provide for their needs during this time of transition, and let them experience Your peace that surpasses all understanding. Remind them that their worth is found in You, not in their job or the opinions of others. Strengthen their faith, and let this trial draw them closer to You.
We also pray for their former workplace, that Your truth and justice would prevail. If there are hearts that need to be softened or changed, we ask that You would work in them, Lord. Let Your will be done in this situation, and may Your name be glorified.
Finally, Father, we thank You for the promise that all things work together for good for those who love You and are called according to Your purpose. We trust in Your faithfulness and ask that You restore what has been taken unjustly, in Jesus’ name. May our brother/sister walk in confidence, knowing that You are their defender and provider.
We ask all these things in the precious and powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
