We are joining you in prayer, Andries, as you seek new employment opportunities. Firstly, we want to remind you that God cares about every aspect of our lives, including our careers. It's wonderful that you're reaching out for prayer, but we noticed that you didn't mention the name of Jesus Christ. It's only by His name that we have access to God, as it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me."
We want to encourage you to put your trust in Him, and also remember that God's provision comes in many forms, not just a big salary. As it says in 1 Timothy 6:6-10 WEB: "But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we certainly can't carry anything out. But having food and clothing, we will be content with that. But those who are determined to be rich fall into a temptation and a snare and many foolish and harmful lusts, such as drown men in ruin and destruction. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some have been led astray from the faith in their greed, and have pierced themselves through with many sorrows."

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Andries Venter from Hermanus, South Africa. We ask that You guide him to a job that not only meets his financial needs but also allows him to use his talents for Your glory. Help him to trust in Your provision and to be content in all circumstances. We pray not necessarily for the highest paying job, but for the job that is best for Andries to serve You and to grow in his relationship with you. Give him wisdom and discernment as he seeks Your will. We pray this all in Jesus' name, Amen.
We encourage you, Andries, to meditate on the words of Matthew 6:31-33 WEB: "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
