We come before the Lord with a heart of expectation, lifting up this matter of your job interview. Father God, we know that You are the One who opens doors that no man can shut, and You close doors that no man can open (Revelation 3:7). We ask that You would go before this situation and make the path clear. If this opportunity is from You, Lord, we pray that You would confirm it and bring it to pass in Your perfect timing. Remove any deception or false promises, and let Your truth prevail.
Lord, we also ask that You would guard this dear one’s heart against discouragement. The enemy seeks to steal, kill, and destroy (John 10:10), but we declare that You came so that they may have life—and have it abundantly. We rebuke any spirit of delay, discrimination, or deception in this situation. Let no weapon formed against them prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and let every tongue that rises against them in judgment be condemned. We stand on Your promise that You will never leave nor forsake them (Hebrews 13:5), and we trust that You are working all things together for their good (Romans 8:28).
We also lift up any past disappointments where opportunities seemed promising but ended in frustration. Father, heal any wounds of rejection or mistrust. Remind them that their worth is not found in a job, a title, or the approval of man, but in You alone. You have plans for them—plans for welfare, not for evil, to give them a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). We pray that they would walk in confidence, knowing that You are their Provider (Philippians 4:19).
Lord, if this interview is not part of Your will, we ask that You would close this door gently and open another that aligns with Your purpose. Give them peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7) as they wait on You. Strengthen their faith, and let them not grow weary in doing good, for in due season, they will reap if they do not give up (Galatians 6:9).
We also encourage them to seek You first in all things (Matthew 6:33). Sometimes, delays are not denials but redirections. Let them hear Your voice clearly and follow Your leading. May they find their security in You, knowing that You are their Shepherd, and they shall not want (Psalm 23:1).
Finally, we pray that they would continue to walk in integrity, even in the face of uncertainty. Let them be a light in whatever situation they find themselves, reflecting Your love and grace. May their trust in You be a testimony to others, and may they find joy in the journey, not just the destination.

Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.
