We lift you and your son before the Lord with heavy yet hopeful hearts, knowing that our God is a God of redemption, justice, and mercy. The pain you carry as a parent is deep, and we grieve with you over the choices your son has made that have led to this place of bondage—both spiritually and potentially physically. The fear of the unknown, the anxiety over his silence, and the weight of guilt you feel are burdens too heavy to bear alone. But take heart, for the Lord invites you to cast all your cares upon Him, "for he cares for you" (1 Peter 5:7, WEB).

First, we must address the sorrow and regret you’ve expressed over feeling you failed to raise your son well. While it is right to examine our hearts and seek the Lord’s forgiveness for our own sins, we must also remember that each person is responsible before God for their own choices. Ezekiel 18:20 (WEB) reminds us, *"The soul who sins, he shall die. The son shall not bear the iniquity of the father, neither shall the father bear the iniquity of the son."* You are not ultimately responsible for your son’s actions, though we know your love for him makes this truth hard to accept. Repent where you must, seek the Lord’s forgiveness, and then release this guilt to Him. He is faithful to forgive and cleanse us (1 John 1:9, WEB), and He does not want you to remain shackled by condemnation. Instead, He calls you to trust Him even in this.

As for your son, we pray fervently for his soul. The path he is on leads to destruction, but God desires that none should perish (2 Peter 3:9, WEB). If he has reoffended, it is a sign of a heart still in rebellion against God. Yet even now, the Lord can break through the hardness and draw him to repentance. We pray that if he has been arrested again, this would be the moment the Holy Spirit convicts him of his sin and leads him to cry out to Jesus for salvation. There is no chain too strong for Christ to break, no heart too hard for Him to soften. Remember the thief on the cross—even in his final hours, he turned to Jesus and was saved (Luke 23:42-43, WEB). It is never too late for redemption.

We also pray for wisdom and clarity for you. The anxiety you feel is natural, but it must not rule you. Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB) says, *"In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."* You have done the right thing by bringing this before the Lord. Now, trust that He will guide your steps. If there are practical actions you can take—such as reaching out to authorities, seeking godly counsel, or connecting with a pastor—ask the Lord to make the path clear. But do not let fear drive you; let faith in His sovereignty lead you.

If your son is still unreachable, we pray that the Lord would either bring him to a place of safety or, if he is in custody, that God would place people in his path who will speak truth and love into his life. We pray for his protection, not just physically, but spiritually—that the enemy would not have a foothold in his heart. We also pray that the Lord would break any strongholds of addiction, anger, or rebellion that have led him down this path. Ephesians 6:12 (WEB) reminds us that *"we don’t wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the world’s rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places."* This is a spiritual battle, and we must fight it on our knees.

Lastly, we must address something critical: your prayer did not invoke the name of Jesus. There is no other name under heaven by which we can approach the Father, and there is no other name by which your son—or any of us—can be saved. Acts 4:12 (WEB) declares, *"There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"* If you have not already, place your full trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Confess with your mouth that He is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved (Romans 10:9, WEB). Then, pray for your son in Jesus’ name, for it is only through Christ that the power of God is unleashed to transform lives.

**Let us pray together:**

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty and matchless name of Jesus, lifting up this mother and her son. Lord, You see the depths of her pain—the sleepless nights, the gnawing fear, the sorrow that feels unbearable. Comfort her, O God, as only You can. Remind her that You are near to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18, WEB). Free her from the chains of guilt and condemnation, and fill her with Your peace that surpasses all understanding.

For her son, Lord, we plead for mercy. If he has reoffended, if he is in custody, if he is running from You—oh, God, pursue him! Do not let him go. Break his heart of stone and give him a heart of flesh (Ezekiel 36:26, WEB). Let this be the moment he realizes his need for You. Surround him with Your presence, even in the darkest places, and let him hear Your voice calling him home. If he is bound by sin, Lord, shatter those chains by the power of Your Spirit. If he is lost, be his Shepherd and lead him back to the fold.

Give this mother wisdom, Lord. Show her what to do, whom to contact, and how to walk in faith rather than fear. Let her trust You even when she cannot see the way forward. And Father, we ask that You would bring glory to Your name through this situation—that Your redemption would be so evident that all who see it would know it is Your hand at work.

We rebuke the schemes of the enemy over this family. No weapon formed against them shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17, WEB). We declare that Your will shall be done, and we trust You, even in the waiting. Strengthen them, Lord. Restore what has been broken. And may this son, if he has not already, turn to Jesus as his Lord and Savior, for it is only in Christ that there is hope, forgiveness, and true freedom.

In the powerful name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

We're here with you, sister. We've been praying fervently for you and your son, and we want to encourage you with these words from the Lord. In Joel 2:25, God says, "I will restore to you the years that the locust has eaten." This is a promise of restoration, of making up for lost time, of turning around situations that seemed beyond hope.

We know the uncertainty and fear you're feeling, but remember, God is in control. He sees your son, even if you can't reach him. He knows where he is and what he's going through. Trust that God is working in his life, even if you can't see it yet.

We also want to remind you of the power of prayer. In Matthew 7:7-8, Jesus tells us, "Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened." Keep praying, keep seeking, keep knocking. God hears you, and He will answer in His perfect timing.

We're also here to support you. If there's anything we can do, any way we can help, please let us know. We're in this together, and we want to walk alongside you through this trial.

Let's keep lifting your son up in prayer, asking God to reveal Himself to him, to soften his heart, and to bring him back to you. And let's keep trusting in God's goodness and His plan, even when we can't see the way forward.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

I prayed that God in Jesus' name will answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God Loves You. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Healed Spirit Soul And Body

We want to thank you for the privilege of standing with you in prayer during this deeply troubling time. Our hearts have been heavy as we have lifted up your loved one, asking our Heavenly Father to intervene in the legal situation he is facing and to protect him from further harm. We have prayed earnestly for your peace and wisdom, that you would know what steps to take and that God’s presence would surround you, calming your fears and anxieties.

We have also joined you in seeking the Lord’s forgiveness for any shortcomings and in asking Him to draw your loved one back into His loving care. We believe that God hears our prayers and that His grace is sufficient, even in the most difficult circumstances.

If the Lord has moved in answer to these prayers—if your loved one has been located, if there has been a breakthrough in the legal situation, or if you have experienced God’s peace in a tangible way—we would be so encouraged to hear your praise report. Your testimony could be a blessing to others who are walking through similar trials.

If, however, the situation remains unresolved or if new challenges have arisen, please do not hesitate to share this request again. We are committed to continuing in prayer with you, trusting that God is working even when we cannot see it. May He strengthen your faith, guide your steps, and wrap you in His comfort as you seek Him through His Son, Jesus Christ.

We pray all these things in Jesus’ Name.
