Prayer for help against dark powers and forces

Dear Family Of God, Today I'd like to pray against dark forces, power and principalities which are against me attaining my freedom. Please stand with me if faith, prayer and agreement. I pray for favor favor favor. I pray for miracles miracles miracles in pray for blessings blessings blessings. I'd like to pray against principalities and powers of darkness in high places. I pray for extreme, unmatched, unstoppable, unspeakable, abundantly, abounding glory all over the world. Please stand with me in faith and prayer over this. All these things I humbly ask in Jesus Christ name with thanksgiving. Thank you.

We join with you in faith and agreement against every dark power and principality that would seek to hinder your freedom, and we stand with you to seek the Lord's will and His glory together in Jesus' name.

We hear your heart crying out for deliverance and freedom, and scripture assures us that this battle is real but that victory belongs to Jesus Christ. For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12. Yet we do not fight in our own strength, for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the throwing down of strongholds. 2 Corinthians 10:4. And we take comfort that greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world. 1 John 4:4.

We encourage you to remain submitted to God and clothed in His armor daily, putting on the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, the shoes of the preparation of the Good News of peace, the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit which is the word of God, praying at all times. Ephesians 6:10-18. We are called to be sober and watchful because your adversary the devil walks around like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour, but we are to withstand him steadfast in our faith. 1 Peter 5:8-9. The promise is clear when we submit to God and resist the devil, he will flee from you. James 4:7. True freedom is found only in Christ, for if therefore the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed. John 8:36, and in all these things, we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. Romans 8:37.

We also hear your prayer for favor and miracles and blessings and for glory to cover the world. We agree that God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, but we pray that His favor and miracles be according to His perfect will and for His glory alone, not merely for our comfort. We seek first His Kingdom and His righteousness, trusting that He will add what we need. Matthew 6:33.

We now pray together.

Father, in the mighty name of Jesus Christ we come before Your throne of grace with our brother and sister. We thank You that You have delivered us from the power of darkness and translated us into the Kingdom of the Son of Your love. Colossians 1:13. We rebuke every principality, power and spiritual force of wickedness in heavenly places that has come against Your child, and we command it to leave in the name of Jesus. We ask You to break every chain, cancel every assignment of the enemy, and let Your light expose and scatter all darkness. We pray You would cover this dear one with the blood of Jesus and let no weapon formed against them prosper. Isaiah 54:17. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit, with peace that passes all understanding and with bold faith. Teach them to dwell in the secret place of the Most High and to rest in the shadow of the Almighty. Psalm 91:1. Grant them favor as You will, pour out Your blessings according to Your riches in glory, and work miracles that point all people to Jesus. Let Your glory indeed fill the earth as the waters cover the sea, Habakkuk 2:14, that many would see and turn to You and be saved. We declare freedom, wholeness and victory over this life through Jesus Christ our Lord, who has already triumphed on the cross. We thank You for hearing us and we trust You to complete the good work You have begun. In Jesus' name we pray, amen.

We encourage you to continue steadfast in prayer, in the reading of the Word, in repentance and holiness, and in fellowship with other believers. Do not give place to fear or to the enemy through unconfessed sin, bitterness or opening doors to the occult, but walk in obedience and forgiveness. Keep your eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, Hebrews 12:2, knowing that He who began a good work in you will perfect it. Philippians 1:6. We continue to stand with you.

We appreciate you sharing this so openly and asking us to stand with you. Wanting to walk in freedom and asking God for His favor and blessing is a humble, good desire, and we are glad to agree with you in prayer for that.

When the battle feels heavy it can be easy to feel overwhelmed by thoughts of dark powers. What has helped many of us is to keep our eyes more on Jesus and His nearness than on the struggle itself, trusting that He is present and able to keep us, and taking simple, steady steps with Him each day.

It helps not to carry this alone. If you have a trusted pastor or mature believer in your local church, consider inviting them to pray with you regularly and to walk alongside you. Staying rooted in ordinary fellowship, prayer, and time in God's Word with other believers can be a steady anchor when you long for breakthrough and peace.

Father, we lift our friend to You today with thanksgiving. You see their longing for freedom and for Your favor in their life. Draw near to them, guard their heart and mind, and give them clear wisdom for each next step. Lead them into the freedom and blessing You desire for them, and fill their home and days with Your peace and presence. We ask for Your protection and guidance, and that they would know they are not alone. In Jesus' name, amen.

Your prayer has been heard and we do stand with you in faith and agreement before the throne of grace. There is indeed a power of darkness, as Scripture declares, and you do well to wrestle not against flesh and blood alone but against principalities and powers. This darkness has a concealing power and a depressing and afflicting power, so that a soul shut up in it seems to sink even at the blaze of noon, seeing nothing of mercy or consolation though it be all around him.

Yet our comfort is this sure word, Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of his dear Son. Deliverance from the power of sin is as much the work of God as deliverance from the guilt of sin, and we must look to our heavenly Father altogether and alone for it. It is not of him that wills nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy. No easy work or hasty word of man can break such bonds, but there is a supernatural power put forth in Christ, for God has found a ransom. The prisoner ready to go down to the pit hears the gracious word, Deliver him from going down to the pit, I have found a ransom, and the Kings own Son has borne the penalty of all iniquities.

We take this as experimental truth, He has delivered us, and if He has delivered us from the tremendous power of sin He will certainly deliver us all the way through. He will deliver from the power of death and from every assault of the enemy. Neither death nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

We pray for you now, that the Lord who kindles the furnace and sits as a Refiner at the door would shine His face upon you and scatter all darkness, that He would keep back your soul from the pit and turn you from darkness to light and from the power of Satan unto God, that you may receive forgiveness of sins and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith in Christ. We ask not for favor as the world counts favor, but for the favor of God which is life, and for the blessings which are in Christ Jesus, that you may be kept in peace within His borders, screened from inward doubts and above all from the plague of sin, and that you may live to declare the works of the Lord. For His glory we ask that His light, above the brightness of the sun, would abound to you and through you, and that being delivered you may go forth to help tear others from the same power.

We commit you to Him who is gracious and who has given commandment to save, trusting that what He has begun He will perfect, in the name of Jesus Christ our only hope and ransom, with thanksgiving. Amen.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name please bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. God bless me to prosper, walk in excellent health, and never stop growing in the love, grace, wisdom, and knowledge of Christ Jesus. God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You. God, bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, Your righteousness, and to always respect and obey You. Bless me to know You, the way You want me to know You. So that I will trust You with my life and anyway that You move in my life. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, lean not to my own understanding, acknowledge You in all my ways, and allow You to direct my footsteps and actions. Bless me with knowledge, wisdom, and understanding in all You have called me to do.

God heal me in every area of my life. Deliver and cleanse me of everything in my life that doesn't honor You. Transform and renew my mind. Bless me with love, power, and a sound mind. Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God-conscious-solution-focused-heart-mind-spirit-and-attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. God, please forever honor this prayer over each of our lives. God Thank You. Amen, so be it by faith, and by faith, it is so.
