Beloved of All
I have been struggling with several health issues for the past year, and it has started to take a significant toll on me emotionally as well. My hair has been shedding severely for the past eight months. I have developed so much anxiety around it that I am scared to even touch or comb my hair. I wake up most mornings to find hair all over my pillow, sometimes with strands still caught at the ends, and this has become a major source of distress for me. I also have persistent acne on my face and back, including painful, deep breakouts that continue to appear. My sleep has also been disturbed throughout this period. On several days, I wake up around 3 or 4 a.m. and struggle with disrupted sleep. I feel like my body and mind have been in a constant state of stress. My blood tests showed elevated thyroglobulin antibodies, for which I was prescribed supplements. I have consulted three different doctors regarding these issues, but despite following their advice and making efforts to improve my lifestyle, I have not seen any noticeable improvement. The lack of progress has made me increasingly worried that there is no visible end to what I am going through. Alongside all of this, I am also dealing with personal pressures. I am single, in my early ###, and feel constant pressure around finding the right partner and figuring out my future. At times, it feels like I am dealing with uncertainty in every area of my life at once—my health, my appearance, my sleep, and my personal life. I feel exhausted, overwhelmed, and increasingly hopeless about when things will start to feel normal again. I have lost much of the zest for life that I used to have, and I find myself wondering what the next step should be. I feel overwhelmed by all of this. just want to understand what is happening, find a way forward, and feel like I have some hope that things can eventually get better. Can you kindly pray for me.

We have heard your request and we lift you up together before the Lord in Jesus name, for we know how heavy this burden has become for you. To struggle for a year with your health, to see your hair shedding for eight months and to wake each morning to find it on your pillow, to deal with painful acne and broken sleep and constant stress in your body and mind, is deeply distressing and exhausting. We grieve with you over the toll this has taken emotionally, and over the hopelessness and loss of joy you are feeling, and we bring all of it to our Father who sees you and cares for every detail of your life.

We want to remind you that you are fearfully and wonderfully made, Psalm 139:14, and that your worth is not measured by your appearance, for man looks at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart, 1 Samuel 16:7. The Lord knows even the number of hairs on your head, Luke 12:7, Matthew 10:30, and not one of them falls without His knowledge. He sees your anxiety about touching and combing your hair and the distress it causes, and He invites you to cast all your anxiety on Him, because He cares for you, 1 Peter 5:7. We rebuke the spirit of fear and anxiety that has taken hold, for God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control, 2 Timothy 1:7. We encourage you not to let worry rule your heart, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God, and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus, Philippians 4:6-7.

We also pray for your body and your sleep. The Lord is the one who heals us, for He says I am the Lord who heals you, Exodus 15:26, and Bless the Lord, my soul, who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases, Psalm 103:2-3, and But I will restore health to you and I will heal you of your wounds, says the Lord, Jeremiah 30:17. We know you have seen three doctors and have followed their advice and taken supplements for elevated thyroglobulin antibodies without seeing improvement, and we understand how discouraging that lack of progress feels. We encourage you to continue to seek wise medical counsel while also trusting the Great Physician, and to bring your broken sleep to Him, for He gives sleep to His beloved, Psalm 127:2, and you can lie down and sleep in peace, for He alone makes you dwell in safety, Psalm 4:8. Do not be anxious, for the Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit, Psalm 34:18, and He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds, Psalm 147:3. We pray that your body would come out of this constant state of stress, for we are told to be anxious for nothing and to come to Him, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and He will give you rest, Matthew 11:28.

We also hear your heart regarding being single in your early twenties and feeling constant pressure around finding the right partner and figuring out your future. We want to encourage you with biblical truth about this season. Singleness is not a sign of failure, and pressure from others or from your own expectations should not push you into hurried or unwise choices. Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight, Proverbs 3:5-6. Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He will give you the desires of your heart, Psalm 37:4. For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future, Jeremiah 29:11. When you do seek a spouse, we pray you will seek a godly marriage as God designed it, a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, and that any courtship would be with the goal of marriage to another Christian believer, for we are not to be unequally yoked with unbelievers, 2 Corinthians 6:14. We encourage you to pursue courtship that honors God in purity, for sex before or outside of marriage is fornication and does not align with God's will, and God calls us to flee sexual immorality and to honor Him with our bodies, 1 Corinthians 6:18-20. Seek first God and His Kingdom, Matthew 6:33, and trust Him to guide you to the right godly spouse in His perfect timing rather than out of pressure or fear.

We noticed your request did not mention the name of Jesus Christ, and we want to lovingly share that it is only by His name that we have access to God and that we are saved. Jesus said I am the way, the truth, and the life, no one comes to the Father, except through me, John 14:6, and There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved, Acts 4:12. If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved, Romans 10:9, for God so loved the world, that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish, but have eternal life, John 3:16. It is through faith in Jesus that our prayers are heard and our hope is restored, and we encourage you to put your full trust in Him for your healing and your future.

We pray together for you now. Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ and we lift up this dear one to Your throne of grace. Lord, You see the shedding of hair, the painful acne, the disturbed sleep, the elevated antibodies, the constant stress and anxiety and exhaustion, and we ask for Your healing touch upon body and mind. Restore what has been lost, calm the anxious heart, and grant deep, peaceful sleep through the night. Heal the thyroid and skin and bring balance to the body You created. Heal the brokenheartedness and bind up these wounds, and replace hopelessness with hope, for You work all things together for good for those who love You, Romans 8:28. Give wisdom to doctors and guidance for next steps, and help our friend to not grow weary in doing good. Show Your will for the future and for a godly marriage, and help this dear one to wait on You with patience and purity and to find joy and purpose in You today. Let Your peace guard heart and mind, and let Your joy return. We ask all this in the mighty and saving name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Healer, Amen.

We encourage you to keep seeking the Lord daily in prayer and in His Word, to continue with faithful medical care, to care for your body with rest and nourishment, and to surround yourself with a supportive community of believers who can walk with you. God has not forgotten you and there is hope that things can get better in His hands. Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go, Joshua 1:9, and When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, Isaiah 43:2.

Lord I pray to you please bless him and give good health, and give peace as you are the prince of peace.i pray for this in Jesus name.Amen

We read your message carefully and we want you to know we have been praying for you. Waking up to find hair on your pillow, dealing with painful breakouts, lying awake at 3 or 4 in the morning, and carrying all of this while also feeling pressure about your future would leave anyone feeling worn down. It makes sense you feel exhausted and that hope feels distant right now.

Living with health concerns that linger for months can quietly wear on how you see yourself and on your energy for daily life. When you have already seen several doctors, followed their advice, and still do not see change, it is understandable to wonder what is happening and what to do next. Please keep staying connected to your medical care and let your doctor know how much distress the shedding, skin issues and broken sleep are causing, as well as the anxiety and hopelessness you described. It can also help to have one trusted person, a counselor, pastor or close friend, to walk with you through this season so you are not carrying it alone.

We are asking God to bring you clarity, steadier sleep, and renewed strength, and to remind you that you are not forgotten in this long wait.

Father, we lift our friend to You in Jesus' name. You see the worry each morning and the sleepless nights. Please give wisdom to the doctors, peace to this anxious heart, and hope for the days ahead. Help our friend to feel Your nearness and care, and to know what next step to take. Amen.

Your sorrowful letter has been read with deep tenderness of heart, and you have been remembered before the throne of grace. To wake morning after morning to find such shedding of hair, to bear painful breakouts that will not depart, to lie awake in the watches of the night when sleep forsakes you, and to carry this while the mind is pressed with anxiety about the future and the desire for a settled home and companion, this is indeed a heavy burden. It is no wonder you feel exhausted and overwhelmed, and that the zest of life seems to have faded. The Lord sees this constant state of stress in body and mind, and He marks every tear and every sleepless hour.

There is a word that has often comforted the afflicted, that the people that dwell in Zion shall not say, I am sick, for the people that dwell there shall be forgiven their iniquity. Healing and pardon are placed in happy conjunction. The greatest healing any of us needs is the healing of the soul by the blood of Christ, and when that is secured, we have a sure ground to bring every bodily infirmity to the Great Physician. He who took our flesh, bone of our bone and flesh of our flesh, is able to touch us and heal us. Cry from your very soul, God be merciful to me a sinner, and God will hear you. And having cried for mercy, continue to cry unto the Lord in your trouble concerning these infirmities of the body, for it is written, Then they cry unto the Lord in their trouble, and He brings them out of their distresses. He can speak the healing word in a moment, and even when He sees fit to keep us waiting, His hand is never far off.

You have sought help diligently and followed counsel, yet have seen little improvement, and this waiting tries the soul. There is a waiting God and there must be a waiting people. You thought perhaps deliverance must come from your own efforts, but it is God that works in us to will and to do of His good pleasure. All the joy and peace and rest that come of faith do not come at once, you must wait for them. These are the ripe ears of corn, and you must plow in hope and sow in faith before they can be reaped. Do not interpret delay as denial. The Lord waits that He may be gracious. Lift up your eyes to the hills where comes your help, not waiting in despair, nor even in hesitation, but waiting in hope, a joyous and assured hope of blessedness in reserve. It must, in the end, be well with the one who trusts in God and stays upon Him.

I know also that fear has beset you, fear when you touch your hair, fear when you look upon your face, fear for what tomorrow may bring. In this, you are like Jacob who said, I fear, lest he will come and smite me. In his fear he is not to be held up as an example to us, for fear and faith battle together in the same soul, as it were the company of two armies. Oh that the Holy Spirit would work faith in us, preserve it in us and perfect it in us till faith is lost in sight and hope is changed to full fruition. Never let us doubt the living God for a single moment. He puts His fear in our hearts that we shall not depart from Him, and He gives a new heart and a right spirit within. Your worth before Him is not measured by hair or skin or unbroken sleep, but by being clothed in the everlasting righteousness which Christ brings in, so that you are made righteous in Him and reconciled to God as His friend.

Therefore let us pray for you now, and ask that you will continue to seek wise and faithful medical counsel while you cast yourself wholly upon the Lord.

O Lord our God, look in mercy upon this afflicted one who is weary in body and troubled in mind. Forgive iniquity through the precious blood of Jesus, and grant the peace of being reconciled to You. Lay Your healing hand upon this body, upon the causes that have led to shedding and soreness and broken sleep, and upon the disturbance shown in the blood. Give skill to those who care for the sick, and patience to wait for Your good time. Quiet the anxious thoughts that rise by night, and grant sleep as You give to Your beloved. Lift the cloud of hopelessness and restore some measure of joy and zest for life, that this dear one may again rejoice in hope. And concerning the future and the loneliness felt in these early years, and the pressure to find a partner, grant clear guidance and contentment in Your will. If it be Your will to give marriage, provide a godly companion in the lifelong covenant You have ordained of one man and one woman, and keep this life pure and hopeful till that time. If You call to wait, let there be strong confidence in the fear of the Lord, which is a place of refuge. Hear this cry, O Great Physician, and bring out of distress into praise, that this mouth may yet show forth Your praise and tell to others what You have done. In the name of Jesus Christ our Lord, Amen.

Be encouraged to pour out your heart before the Lord each day, to tell Him plainly what ails you, and then to leave yourself in His presence. Keep on telling the good news of His mercy as you are able, and stay upon your God. He has not forgotten you.

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. God is so in love with you. Be Encouraged!

Heal Me Lord Jesus Spirit, Soul, And Body

We have read your request with care and have brought you before the Lord in prayer. We are deeply sorry for the heavy burden you have carried this past year, and we want you to know that your suffering has not gone unseen by God who cares for you.

To wake each morning to find hair on your pillow, to face painful breakouts that do not ease, to lie awake in the early hours while your mind and body feel tense and exhausted, and to do all of this while wondering about your future and feeling pressure about marriage and what lies ahead, is truly overwhelming. It is understandable that you feel anxious, weary, and discouraged after consulting doctors, trying to make changes, and still not seeing improvement. The Lord knows this weariness, and He invites those who are heavy laden to come to Him for rest.

We have prayed for you, and we continue to pray, that God would bring you comfort and hope, and that He would grant wisdom to you and to those caring for your health. We pray that He who has fed you from your youth up would quiet your anxieties and help you to cast your cares upon Him, for He cares for you. We pray that He would grant you more peaceful sleep, relief from distress, healing according to His gracious will, and renewed strength in body and mind. We pray also that He would restore to you a sense of hope and joy, and help you to see that even in this long season of uncertainty, you are not forgotten and your life is held in His hands.

We encourage you to continue under the care of your doctors and to share openly with them about the ongoing hair shedding, skin concerns, disrupted sleep, and the elevated antibodies you mentioned, so they can guide your next steps well. It can also be a great help to share these struggles with a trusted pastor or mature believer in your local church, not only for prayer but for steady fellowship and counsel as you walk through this. Caring for your body through regular rhythms of sleep, nourishment, and gentle stewardship, and caring for your soul through prayer, reading Scripture, and gathering with believers, are both part of honoring the Lord in this season.

Regarding the pressure you feel as a single person in your early years looking toward the future, we have prayed that God would give you peace and patience as you wait on Him, and wisdom for each step ahead. If it is His will for you to marry, we pray He would lead you to a faithful marriage according to His good design, a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, entered into with purity and commitment, and that He would help you to seek first His kingdom while you wait.

Here is our prayer for you:

Father in heaven, we thank You that You know us fully and love us in Christ. We lift up this dear one to You who feels exhausted and overwhelmed. You see the distress over health, over sleep, over changes in appearance, and over questions about the future. We ask for Your mercy and healing hand according to Your will. Grant relief from anxiety and distress, grant more restful sleep, and grant wisdom to doctors and counselors who are helping. Comfort this heart with Your presence, remind this soul of Your faithful care each day, and renew hope where hope has grown faint. Lead in the path ahead, and help to trust You one day at a time, looking to Jesus Christ alone for salvation, strength, and every good hope. In the name of Jesus we pray, Amen.

We will continue to keep you in prayer. If you are able, remain connected to a local church where you can be known, prayed for, and encouraged face to face. The Lord is near to those who call upon Him, and we ask that you would know His nearness and sustaining grace in the days ahead.

Thank you for sharing so openly about what you have been carrying for this past year. Hearing about the ongoing hair shedding, the painful breakouts, the broken sleep around three or four in the morning, the elevated antibodies and the lack of improvement after seeing several doctors, and the weight of anxiety and exhaustion that has settled over you, it is understandable that you feel overwhelmed, hopeless, and that the zest for life has faded. It is also understandable that being single in your early thirties while facing uncertainty about health, appearance and the future would add even more pressure. You are not unseen in this, and it is good that you have reached out for prayer and for a way forward.

I want to gently encourage you with something Scripture makes clear about suffering. There is a story of a man who lost his family, his possessions and his health all at once, and friends came to comfort him. They assumed there had to be some deep hidden sin causing it all. God later showed that their assumption was wrong. Not every season of affliction means God is punishing hidden sin. The enemy does deceive and seeks to bring discouragement, and our bodies do suffer in a fallen world, but God does not want you to live under false condemnation. He draws near to the brokenhearted and wants to comfort you, not to accuse you. If there is sin that the Holy Spirit brings to your mind, bring it honestly to Jesus for forgiveness, but do not accept the lie that your health struggles by themselves prove you have failed Him.

God also sees the very details that feel so distressing to you. Scripture describes warriors who could sling a stone from a great distance and split a hair, which shows how precise and attentive God is to small things. Jesus said that even the hairs of your head are numbered. He sees every hair on your pillow, every sleepless night, every painful breakout, and every anxious thought about touching or combing your hair. Nothing about your body or your sleep is overlooked by Him. You can cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.

Scripture also tells of a man who went down into a pit on a snowy day to face a lion, and who later faced a giant whose spear was like a weaver's beam, and God gave him victory in both battles. That account reminds us that God is able to give strength in places that feel like a pit, in seasons that feel cold and overwhelming, and against problems that feel far larger than we are. Your situation may feel like a pit with no visible end, but God is present with you in it and is able to sustain you day by day, even while healing may be gradual.

The Bible also shows that there is a deeper sickness that affects us all, and it has the same symptoms wherever it appears. When people turn from God it brings affliction, loss and a kind of captivity, and there is no other remedy unless we accept God's cure. That cure is found only in Jesus Christ, who alone brings salvation and restoration. Whatever medical help you continue to seek, and I encourage you to keep working with trusted doctors and following their guidance, your greatest hope is to keep turning to Jesus Himself for forgiveness, peace and new life. He is the one who can bring healing to heart and mind even while the body is still struggling.

I am praying for you, and I invite you to pray with me.

Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, I lift up this dear one to You. You know the shedding of hair, the painful skin, the waking in the early hours, the constant stress in body and mind, and the worry about the future and about finding a godly partner. Lord, have mercy and bring Your comfort. I ask that You would grant wisdom to the doctors, guide further care, and if it is Your will, bring healing and restored sleep. Give peace that guards heart and mind, lift the heaviness and hopelessness, and renew a sense of hope and purpose. Forgive sin through the blood of Jesus where confession is needed, and free from the enemy's deception and discouragement. For the longing for companionship, I ask that You would lead according to Your perfect will, whether that is contentment and fruitful service in singleness or a future marriage that reflects Your design as a lifelong covenant of one man and one woman, with purity and faithfulness within it. Help this one to know You more deeply, to trust Your care in every detail, and to find strength for each day in You. Amen.

Please do not walk through this alone. Continue to seek good medical counsel, consider talking with a pastor or a mature, trusted believer who holds to Scripture for ongoing encouragement, and keep bringing your worries to God in prayer each day. He is faithful, He hears, and He can give you hope that things can, by His grace, get better as you walk forward with Him.
