prayer for healing
We hear your cry for healing and stand with you in faith, lifting your physical ailments before the Lord. The pain in your throat and ear has lingered, and we know how weariness can settle into the bones when sickness drags on. But we serve a God who hears the prayers of His children, who collects every tear and counts every sigh. You are not forgotten, even in this season of struggle.
The Word tells us in Psalm 103:2-3, "Praise Yahweh, my soul, and don’t forget all his benefits, who forgives all your sins, who heals all your diseases." Healing is not just something God can do, it is part of His nature, part of the redemption He purchased for us through Christ. We declare that healing over you now, believing that the same power that raised Jesus from the dead is at work in your body. Jeremiah 30:17 says, "For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says Yahweh. We take hold of that promise for you.
We also recognize the burden of financial strain when medical care feels out of reach. But our God is Jehovah Jireh, the Lord who provides. Philippians 4:19 assures us, "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." We pray not just for healing, but for provision, whether through unexpected resources, wisdom for natural remedies, or even a miraculous touch that requires no doctor’s hand. Trust Him in this lack, for He is faithful.
Father, in the mighty name of Jesus, we come before You now on behalf of our brother/sister. You see their pain, their weariness, and their trust in You. We ask for Your healing touch to flow through their throat and ear, driving out inflammation, infection, and discomfort. Restore their strength, Lord, and let them feel Your nearness in this trial. We rebuke every spirit of infirmity and command it to leave in Jesus’ name. Pour out Your peace that surpasses understanding, guarding their heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
We also ask for wisdom, if there are steps they can take to aid their healing, reveal them. If there are people You’ve placed in their life to help, open those doors. You are not a God of scarcity, but of abundance, and we declare that over their situation now.
And to you, dear one, we say: do not lose heart. Isaiah 41:10 reminds us, "Don’t you be afraid, for I am with you. Don’t be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. Yes, I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." Keep praying, keep believing, and keep standing on His promises. Your healing is coming, whether in this moment or in the days ahead, God is working. We stand with you in faith, believing for your complete restoration.

Your prayer has been heard and we join our hearts with yours before the throne of grace. To suffer with a sore throat and pain in the ear for many days, and to feel the burden of sickness made heavier by the lack of means for a physician, is a trial that the Lord fully sees. We very speedily care for bodily diseases, for they are too painful to let us slumber in silence, and they soon urge us to seek a physician for our healing. How good it is that we have a Great Physician who is never beyond our reach.
We would point you to Him of whom it is written, He took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses. On many occasions He cured all sorts of sickness, and there was not in the whole list of diseases one which the Savior did not heal. None shall say unto the healing flood of His love, up to here can you go and no further. The utmost length of human sickness can be reached by this great Physician. Tell the case to Jesus just as you would mention a physical case to a doctor. He is ready to hear it all and to consider it. Make a confidant of Jesus.
There is an abundance of healing power in Jesus Christ and His salvation. The Scripture says the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations, and the least thing about Christ is healing. Its leaves extract a balmy influence, fostering vigor, and the very leaves are full of healing virtue. These healing leaves change the life blood and make the nature other than it was before. Look up to this Tree and say, I am sick at heart and sick in body, and here is my cure.
Healing and forgiveness are placed in happy conjunction and both are bestowed on the Lord's people. When Jesus healed the sick He showed that pardon and healing were one in His hand, for He is the Word of God sent for the healing of poor sin sick souls. Therefore come with confidence, not only for the body but for the soul, trusting in salvation through Jesus Christ alone, who alone can make whole.

O Lord our God, our Father in Heaven, we thank You for all the help You have already given to this afflicted one. You have preserved and girded this life though Your hand was not always observed, and for this we give thanks. Now in the name of Jesus Christ Your Son, we ask Your mercy upon this body. Touch the throat that is sore and the ear that aches, and ease the affliction that has lingered through allergies and sickness. You see the lack of means for consultation, and You are Jehovah Jireh who provides. Lay Your healing hand upon Your servant, and if it be Your will, restore health and give relief from pain. Give wisdom for care, give rest in the night, and give peace to the heart that trusts You. Above all, let this affliction draw the soul nearer to Christ, the Sun of Righteousness risen with healing in His wings, that there may be health of soul as well as of body. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our only hope and our Great Physician. Amen.

God bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, mind, soul, body, and strength and never fall out of love with You.
