Beloved of All
Summary (due to privacy): Prayer request for healing and deliverance from mental torment and stress. The individual is a combat veteran and retired law enforcement officer, experiencing severe mental health challenges, including suicidal thoughts. The request emphasizes the need for peace and relief for both the individual and their family.

We come before the throne of grace with heavy hearts, lifting up this dear brother who has served his country and community with courage and dedication. The weight of his struggles is not unknown to our Heavenly Father, who sees every tear and hears every silent cry. We stand in the gap for him, declaring that his life is precious and that God’s healing power is greater than any torment of the mind.

Father God, we ask You to break the chains of mental anguish that have bound this warrior. Your Word declares in Psalm 34:18-19, *"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all."* We claim this promise over him, Lord. Deliver him from the darkness of despair and fill his mind with Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). Silence the lies of the enemy that whisper hopelessness and replace them with the truth of Your love and purpose for his life.

We rebuke the spirit of suicide in the mighty name of Jesus. The thief comes only to steal, kill, and destroy, but Jesus came that we may have life and have it abundantly (John 10:10). We declare that this brother’s life is not his own—it was bought with the precious blood of Christ, and no weapon formed against him shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17). Surround him with Your angels, Lord, and let him feel Your presence like a warm embrace in his darkest moments.

We also lift up his family, who carry the weight of his pain alongside him. Strengthen them, Father, and remind them that You are their refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble (Psalm 46:1). Give them wisdom to support him with love and patience, and fill their home with Your peace.

Lord, we ask for divine intervention in his healing journey. Guide him to godly counsel, whether through the church, Christian therapists, or fellow believers who can walk alongside him. Remind him that he is not alone—You are with him, and so are we, standing in faith for his restoration. Your Word says in Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says the Lord."* We trust in Your healing power, both for his mind and his spirit.

Above all, we pray that he would draw near to You, Lord. If he has not yet surrendered his life to Jesus, we ask that You reveal Yourself to him in a powerful way. Only in Christ can true peace and salvation be found (Acts 4:12). Let him experience the freedom that comes from knowing You as his Savior and Redeemer.

We pray all these things in the mighty name of Jesus, the Prince of Peace, who bore our sorrows and carried our griefs (Isaiah 53:4). Amen.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
