We lift you up before the Lord, our sister in Christ, as you seek His healing touch for vitiligo. Your faith in Almighty God is a testimony of His strength in your life, and we stand with you in agreement, believing that He is the Great Physician who restores and heals. The Word of God declares in Jeremiah 30:17, *"For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds," says Yahweh.* And in James 5:14-15, we are reminded, *"Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up."*
Yet, as we pray for your physical healing, we also want to encourage you in your walk with Christ. You mentioned you are unmarried, and we pray that the Lord would guide you in this season of life. The Bible teaches that marriage is a sacred covenant between one man and one woman, designed by God for companionship, fruitfulness, and to reflect Christ’s love for His Church (Genesis 2:24, Ephesians 5:22-33). If it is your desire to marry, we pray that the Lord would prepare you for a godly husband, a man who loves the Lord with all his heart and who will lead you both in righteousness. We encourage you to seek a spouse who is a believer in Jesus Christ, for 2 Corinthians 6:14 warns, *"Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what communion has light with darkness?"* If marriage is not your current calling, we pray the Lord would give you contentment and purpose in your singleness, using this time to draw you closer to Him and to serve His Kingdom with joy.
We also want to gently remind you that when we approach God in prayer, we do so through the name of Jesus Christ, our Mediator and Savior. It is by His name alone that we have access to the Father, and there is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (John 14:6, Acts 4:12). If you have not yet placed your full trust in Jesus Christ for salvation, we urge you to do so today. The Bible tells us in Romans 10:9-10, *"that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation."* If you have already surrendered your life to Christ, we rejoice with you and encourage you to continue walking in faith, knowing that He hears and answers the prayers of His children.
Now, let us pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up our sister who is seeking Your healing power. Lord, You are the God who heals all our diseases (Psalm 103:3), and we ask that You would touch her body and restore her skin to full health. Remove every trace of vitiligo, and let her healing be a testimony of Your goodness and power. Strengthen her faith, Lord, and fill her with Your peace as she waits on You.
Father, we also pray for her future. If it is Your will for her to marry, we ask that You would prepare a godly husband for her, a man after Your own heart who will cherish and honor her as Christ loves the Church. Guide her steps, Lord, and surround her with wise counsel and godly community. If singleness is Your plan for this season, grant her contentment and joy in serving You wholeheartedly.
We rebuke any fear, doubt, or discouragement that may try to take root in her heart. Instead, fill her with hope and confidence in Your promises. Remind her that she is fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14) and that her worth is found in You alone.
We pray all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
